martin has ZERO playmaking skills. and we're not any closer to a championship team even if yao makes it all the way back.

giving up tmac for kmart is good, but not with landry.

If there is at least one 1st rounder headed our way then I can let off a little steam. We are taking a major gamble otherwise having the key piece of this deal being so injury proned!

Why do the Kings do this deal, if they aren't getting tmac or Landry?n Meanwhile, the Knicks rape us for massive cap relief and our best PF.

Not only that but he's shooting sub 40 percent and is injury prone...Lateral move at best, a step backwards most likely.

    Yes.
Some of you guys are overrating Hill. Of the times I've watched him play, he's garbage...forget his potential, landry will always be better than hill

I can only see one positive out of this. Rockets get their 'scorer' and Ariza becomes a role player again.

Once we get Yao back, its a pretty good lineup.

Maybe a scaled back version of the trade would be more palatable to NY.

Losing Landry sucks, yes, but this trade makes so much more sense. Getting the SG we really needed. Not taking in any bad contracts. Getting a back up PG while Lowry is injured. Getting a back up center (possibly, he's still young). And it might still turn into a 3 way with NY. We will see, so far I like it.

There's got to be something else going down. I think we might take these scrubs and use them to get Amare.....might have to get another team involved.

Martin can score, Armstrong is big and Kenny Thomas looks like Clutch the Bear. That is all. :(

My thoughts exactly. Knicks just want to lose Jeffries, and I think we would do that deal (we throw in a 2nd rounder, they throw in cash to cut Jeffries).

I think we all should know Adelman doesn't like players who need the ball to be effective. Martin is a high efficent player. He will be a good fit for Adelman's system.

As a spurs fan who has respect for the rockets this has to be one of the worst trades since scola to the spurs... I dont get one reason why the rockets didnt tank this season get a high draft pick and let tracy contract rot on the bench try to go after a free agent or try to do a spurs type trade for jefferson this summer but they aquire a shooting guard this summer

bad trade by the rockets there not going to win a championship this year i dont know why morey thinks this team can win one with this team who doesnt have a go to guy and martin is injury prone and a chucker moreys a idiot sorry
