Where the heck do you shop? I haven't seen anything Rockets here in the Dallas area since I moved here 7.5 years ago... lol.
Just look at their "positive feedback" ratings, only deal with people close to 11%. I was very sceptical at first as well, but I got over it and I'm glad I did. Because I never would have gotten my "Members Only" jacket.
That is a very good point. The clearance sale pretty much wiped most of the good Rockets stuff. If you snooze, you lose. However, I am sure the team shop will be filled up with plenty of Rockets and All Star shirts, jerseys, ect.. by November.
here's a thought...go read my post and note that I don't live in Houston and can't keep tabs on the Rockets shop every week. It's not too much to ask for a team to have a shirt with their logo on it in their official shop, is it?
Its really very sad. Yao is said to be more popular worldwide than Michael Jordan. and T-Mac has the marketability to move an entire clothing/shoe line. You would think Rockets merchandise would be in high demand??? I dont think the team makes too much money off of merchanidise, I believe most goes to the NBA, so why would they care??? My only gripe is I wish the Rockets would team up with Michell and Ness and make more memoribilia from those Championship years. Jackets, Shooting shirts, etc.
I would think the official Rockets shop would have gear year round, clearance sale or no. If you can't count on the Rockets themselves to be selling the stuff at their own shop, that's kinda sad.
Sweet. Thanks for the leather jacket tip. It's pleather, but I'll buy it. I think I would have liked the big R on the back. But I love the red and black.
