That's a pretty bad team built off of a decade.

Plenty of holes for the other teams to exploit and a very weak rebounding team.

True. He shouldn't be a candidate either. I can only assume they added him just to have more candidates and his best season in the 2000's was decent (19.6 ppg, 5.3 apg, .398 3-pt%).

Lowry's best season in the 2000's with us was 9.1 ppg & 4.5 apg. He's definitely not a 2000's all decade player. Hopefully a 2010's, though.

i would have hated to have a prime tmac and steve on the same team, i dont think the 2 could coexist, tmac is the better player, steve acted like he was the better player and would want the ball.. my ideal team with a prime tmac is running 2 SGs while tmac ran the offense at the 3..

Ron Artest should be there instead of Battier he led us to the 2nd round.

The steve and cuttino show won 45 games with little talent around them. They are probably the reason the nba changed some of its rules to stop allowing so many isos. There has never been a team where battier was the 2nd best player that won 45 games. He was never better than the 5th or 6th player on those memphis teams. He was probably the third best on 06-07 rockets team, but that team other than tmac or yao had no talent.

i'm so glad t-mac is being recognized as 1 of the top 5 players for the rockets in that decade. it's about time the organization and fans paid their respects to him.

It really seems odd that Steve will be there without Cuttino.
The newbs somehow think that Steve and Yao were close buddies, but we Rocket fans who saw the Steve Francis era know, it was Steve and Cat.

    Together.

Talk about TMAC...i watched some highlights by BMACpoland on youtube...and the guy has his step back...just imo...

Other than that...This is a solid list...Cant believe we couldnt do anything with Yao and TMAc...that is quite sad...

Yeah, that was just a bad timing with their injuries. But you have to remember that ref cheated in the playoffs in 2005 and again vs. Jazz. It's really unfair to T-Mac and Yao. They deserved championship but refs just prevented. Remember Tim Donaghy and Finley stepped out of bound.

That Dallas series was probably the second or third worst officiated playoff games...(Lakers Sacramento was the worst; Mavs in 06 vs Miami was also bad)

Its like we had fools gold...really sucks every time i think about it...Yao and TMAC...2 once in a lifetime players...in their primes...broke down..right in front of our eyes...smh...how unfortunate..

I feel bad for TMAC and Yao. They worked hard trying to bring another championship to Rockets. I believe the ref played a part in game 7 in 2007 playoff against Jazz and also Mavs in 2005. But I am glad they played for Rockets because without them, Rockets wouldnt know the importance of superstars to help them win championship, so that's why Rockets want to sign a superstar. I am still proud of them today for their effort and determination. I would definitely honor them on Thursday.
