I don't know if Zaza is 7'0",but Garnett is taller than his listed 6'11" height for sure.

Well we need someone at center and since there are only scrubs out there I'd personally rather have Chandler since he does have a little more toughness in him. At this point everything we get is a one year rental so who cares if its Chuck Nevitt or Manut Bol its just a body in the middle for the Rockets tanking season :(

I hope Zaza wants a (temporary) starting spot more than money, because he won't be getting the latter . . . unless the Hawks agree to a sign-and-trade with the Rockets using the $2.6M trade exception Houston got in the last Steve Francis trade.

I've always liked Zaza. Do I want him for our starting center long term? Absolutely not. But I'd love him as a back up. He's a great rebounder and he plays hard.

Not a bad banger for the right price. One can do a lot worse than ZaZa for an under the MLE center. It is pretty much a triumph to find someone who isn't physically deformed at this size.

Zaza is definitely a good guy to be going after. He works hard and brings toughness.

He has had good seasons and the guy is only 25. I'm hoping we are able to lure him through a sign and trade.

I like ZaZa. He's capable of starting and will serve as a good backup once Yao comes back.

I don't understand why people don't like Zaza. I saw few Atlanta's games and I can tell you, this gy is damn good. He plays hard.

I live in ATL and have watched ZAZA in the playoff against the HEAT. He made JO like an allstar.

I see what you mean. I didn't really pay attention to that series and have not watched Zaza a whole bunch so I'll take your word for it. Stats wise he seems okay, but stats aren't everything in this world. What's his defense like? Sucky help defender, isn't in the right position, why exactly did Oneal own him?

Yeah Garnett and Duncan were the two that made it in vogue to have their height listed just under 7ft when in reality they were taller.

The guy can rebound, so he would just be a big body we can put out there. The only concern I have about him after looking at his stats is that he seems turnover prone when given minutes.
