    I'd be willing to bet both Thompson and Biyombo are available at #14. Biyombo's draft stock took a hit the last few weeks.

    For what it's worth, Hollinger had Thompson as the 3rd best prospect on his draft rater list.

    Well he rescued that by having a couple of really good workouts toward the end. So my guess is detroit will definitely get him at 8.

    Also, he has now been invited to the Green Room, so that is a really big indication that he is lotto bound. The Cavs have even been talking Thompson at #4 and word is he doesn't make it past #10. So i think it's fair to say that neither of those guys will be around at #14

    If he is undersized then Patterson is as well. Both are 6'9 but Thompson has the better wingspan and standing reach. Plus he's quicker and more athletic. He has more upside than Pat and maybe they see something in him and are willing to move Patterson.

    I hope we get Biyombo.

    I don't care that his offense appears to be abysmal.
    I want his shot blocking and rebounding.

    I mean lets be honest here, how many big men who are plus defenders ALSO have a refined offensive game? Not a common thing. So when a young defensive prospect at the 5 position doesn't seem to have much of an offensive game it doesn't really scare me in the slightest. Especially with a team as offensively gifted as ours.

    Biyombo can play Center, his 7'7 wingspan and 9'3.5 standing reach combined with his crazy athleticism will all translate to the 5 spot.

    However Thompson can not, the guy is a pure PF. But it is interesting to note that it been reported that the Cavaliers are really interested in Thompson(even considering him at 4th)... and it might be a ploy by Morey to draft him and then package him + other assets to the Cavaliers, for who I'm assuming their taking with the 4th overall pick(Jonas Valanciunas).
