Doesn't appear to have a lot to his game (at this stage). Extreme athlete though

Might be Ousmane Dieng type where he slides to the 2nd round and comes back up late in the season

I'm more worried about the Rockets falling out of the top 5 or so picks with the way they've been playing. They've screwed up and won 5 of their last 10. lol.

I blame Silas for allowing improvement

With the Bucks pick I like
GG Jackson (6'9 F) but he probably ends up in the lottery though (not even 18 yet!!)
Leonard Miller (6'10 F 7'2 wingspan) has a nice frame and all-court game. Needs to add strength (fill out his frame) and his shot is kind of streaky, and he is not super bouncy
Emoni Bates is worth a workout - currently projected mid 2nd round. If the scouting department like what they see, it could be worth trading back from the Bucks pick for two 2nds (The Lakers are at 36 and 37 - perhaps they want to move up to the late 20s to get 1 rookie scale 4 year guy rather than 2 tricky 2nd rounder contracts?). The problem is that we might not want to add two 2nd rounders either to an already extremely young team.

If our guy isn't there (whomever that turns out to be in 6 months time!), I'd hope we would kick the can down the road, and flip the pick for a 2025 or later (2024 will be hard to get a first with its double draft status)

With the talent that's on this squad, we would have to show zero improvement in our youngsters to keep losing at the rate we were at the start of the year, which would have been a tremendous red flag. Only way you will get us to be as bad as we were again, is if we had tons of injuries or sat out players to tank.

Silas does a good job sitting Green and Alp out for Nix and Gary. He can just up that and KPJ would align himself for the iso-show.

They were in the midst of a 7 game winning streak this time last year and still only ended up with 20 wins. Stone needs to get rid of Silas’s safety blanket in EG.

EG really isn't helping them win .... He's just there mucking shiit up taking terrible shots & being a black hole offensively while half assing it on the defensive end.

While I'd much rather see those minutes go to one of the young cats, EG's part of the tank.

That’s true. I’d just like to force Silas to try different lineups that he won’t do while he has Gordon.

Sometimes those single digit losses do not tell the whole story when your team was behind by 20 for the late stretch.

Except that Ego is the old wrinkled blanket that Silas used as a baby.

Rockets now in a 3-way tie for the 3rd worst record.

    The Tankathon is strong!

Jalen Green and Jabari Smith are players who would not be wearing Rocket's Red if we hadn't tanked.

Damn you Silas for improving the team.

But seriously... I was expecting much more shameless tanking. We are still tied for 3rd worst.

Silas is the key to a 3rd top 5 pick, then next year a new coach and competing for the play-in. :)

Hakeem/Alf knows for sure we could have Ben Simmons, Tre Mann, Ochai Obaji this year and on the way to the Finals. Satire is dumb!
