It is just brilliant coaching By the end of the 1st, the coaching staff have figured out who is hot and which player combos are in sync, they then need to disrupt that as the game goes on. Ideally it would include some sleeping pills in the half-time Gatorade to make everyone lethargic in the 3rd
Tight race for bottom 3 at this point . We have some separation over 4 . getting number 2 would be nice . Eliminates the possibility of getting pick 7 and overall gives us 13% higher to be top 5 . the crazy thing is even if we are number 1 , we still have almost a 50% chance to be pick number 5 . tanking is so lame . Please win more next year
We want to really suck through next year. Ending up locking in top 5 this year would be great. Paolo/Smith/Chet/Ivey/Griffin. No terrible option there.
ok so you try your hardest to be a bottom 3 worst team in exchange for a 14 percent chance at him .. or number 4 for 12 ..? just try to win as much as you can . If you are the 7th or 8 worst team you still have like a 7 percent chance for him .
I did it 10 times twice (20 times) and we only got the number 1 pick 3 times... We are in for a reality check, all the tanking teams are, it'll be a couple years before the league catches up when they see the worst team in the league not get a top 3 pick 2-3 years in a row.. then people will panic Hopefully we land #1 or 2!
Umm... not yet... Minnesota is trying desperately to choke away a game they should've won. And OKC is still trying to win. lol. *EDIT* : and Charlotte's getting beat like a drum.
We would have secured a Top 5 pick in a 5 player draft if not for the absolutely pointless 9 game win streak before the New Year.
