Still love this pick, but think he will take a while to find his way in the NBA, probably play a good while in Rio Grande.

Really like how White played up to the competition he went against in college.

    18/17/4 vs Kansas
    18/9/5 vs Kansas
    23/9/4 vs Kentucky

Royce White: "Now think about when aliens come here. When aliens come here and they see me throwing a ball in a hoop, what are they going to think? They’re going to be like: "This dude is wasting all his time."

This guy is going to need playing time to develop, I don't see him really not developing unless he gets the essential amount of time on the court.

He could end up being a Lebron James type of player, but of course he wouldn't put up the same numbers, not even close, I could see him putting up 15/10/5 a night if he gets the opportunity..

Lets hope this was the right pick over zeller, thats my only dislike. If zeller becomes a nice center/forward in the league and royce becomes a bust its going to be sad.

The only thing I worry about is that he can't shoot. 30 percent on jumpers is terrible. With his huge hands, I wonder if he can develop a consistent shot.

Why is there so many NO's? these players are a part of our team now and we should be looking to see the best in them and should be supporting them all the way. But no, were gonna be assholes about it and b**** and moan about what we don't like, thats not changing anything so get EXCITED about our new players!!

The Mavs wanted Lamb and Royce, so there's some consolation in us messing up their draft.

Yaaay! Furkan Aldemir! A Turkish power forward / center, standing...you guessed it 6'9"!

    Whooooooooooooooooo hooooooooooooooooooo!

His name sounds like an irish man telling you to leave his home in an aggressive tone...
'if ya don't like it, you can get the Furkan Aldemir'

    Excitement level over 1000!

And don't forget the two Jon's, Leuer & The Brockness Monster...that's how it's done.

(I like Leuer though, have to admit...)

Then there is Shaun 'no knees' Livingston!

    And Scola at center.

I think Royce has such an advanced game that he could see major minutes and even challenge for a starting spot if he can learn to play defense.

Yea i just watched some youtube clips of on youtube.. I WAS MINDBLOWN

    jaw-dropping stuff

He reminds me of Charles Barkley or a LeBron James( its weird even saying that about a prospect who didnt go in the Top 3 or 4)

I think he might be good enough to relugate Parsons to the bench( for defensive switches). Too talented, and powerful to sit on the bench

Honestly he reminds me of Larry Bird with out the outside shot.

    - Deceptive athleticism
    - positional rebounder, always has a body on someone
    - basketball iq, sees everything on the court

Mostly though, his passing reminds me if Bird... a lot.

If he could shoot like Bird he would have been a top five pick.

Look up some of Iowa St basketball highlights from last season. He was always the best player on the court, even when he played against Kansas or Kentucky.

His body really really reminds me of james johnson -http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/James-Johnson-5053/

so maybe we can expect that type of athleticism from him at the nba level. which is good enough for the SF no? royce's game really is no where near a pf's game so i don't see us playing there.
