Co-sign. Newly averaged 20 per in whatever league he played in. And Lior Eliyahu's name is hilarious when stated by PA announcers.

umm.. no. They are both 'bet' fit playing basketball, seeing as they are both gonna be busy doing that at the Olympics.

Newley has been doin ok with the Aussie team in lead up so far against Iran & NZ, playing ok defence and taking it strong on the break. His outside shot has been a bit shaky tho :(

I like Tyndale and want to see how well he'll play.

But we won't have any room for him on the team anyway...

Just want to make sure. Any team can sign anyone playing for any of the summer teams as long as they were not drafted right?

Did anyone notice the Rockets have 4 pg's on the roster. Lanny Smith, r Robinson, Gustavo Barrera and Brooks. Might they be looking to shore up the PG spot from a SL project. Not exactly what I had hoped for.

It will be interesting to watch the guard play to see if Brooks has shown improvement and I am also intrigued by this Gustavo Barrera guy. He played in europe alondside Rudy Fernandez but then had passport problems so he couldn't play in Spain and got stuck in Uraguay with a team and a coach he hated. When he wasn't playing for the team he showed alot of talent. He may be the best passer on the team and his size for a pg is great.

Posted this in the wrong thread (Gerald Green blah, blah, blah...)
    >>>>
My 1st post to one of my ATF bbs. Ex-native Houstonian, Rockets fan since 1977, transplanted to Ca. Anyway, here goes:

    http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Jamont-Gordon-290/

This guy deserves some time in our NBDL camp. Good scoring potential but needs to work on TOs and assists. He was left over from the draft (which should tell you something), but at no cost to the Rockets, I think he might deserve a look.

    Any thoughts?

He's a tweener. Good size for a point but not good vision. Average size for a sg but can't shoot. Decent rebounder but at the 2 that is not a priority. If his passing and shot has improved then he would be worth a look.
