I believe its because both of them are FA's this season and the rockets don't want them to dominate the summer leagues and drive the price up.

Remember after John Lucas III avg'd like 20 pts 10assists in summer league a few years ago? And we had to basically out bid other team's offers?

I think Gary Forbes can make our final roster before the season starts. I thought he was gonna get drafted in the 2nd round because he played well in the pre-draft camp. He is 6-7, gives us size at SG/SF position. I rather have him than Mike Harris... there are too many PFs on our team.. good to see the Rockets got Forbes on the summer league team.

dont know how many UH grads there are on the board, but i would really love to see a guy like Lanny Smith make the team. He is the ultimate team player, and has an incredible all around game.

I know his shooting was a bit lacking in college, but it was incredible to see how easy it was for him to get in the lane and dish it off to others. I like his IQ and size the most. Lets hope he has been working on his jumper, and his ankle isnt an issue anymore...

I was watching highlites of Forbes, I've never seen him play before. Man does he have a beautiful shot! Really high release, looks very smooth, calm and confident with the ball in his hands.

When will the summer league starts? I am not surprise gerald green is not in the list. He probably felt he is too good for summer league which is probably true. He did play a while for Boston and played OK.

Where's Malick Badiane? He couldn't even qualify for the summer league roster. He's disappeared. We got a better enforcer in Dorsey, anyway.

i believe his rights were traded away from the rockets to either the hornets or grizzlies in one of the trades we made with those teams
