If it's fake, hope he's tradded. If it's fake and he's not traded, make sure he doesn't wear a Rocket uniform ever. If he does, maybe Artest can knock his own teammate out during the middle of a game, that would be fun !! If it's not fake, then he still needs to be shipped out of here because time has run out. Hence the slogan 'It's time' last year, so this year time is up and "things can only get worse for Tracy McGrady" (Clyde Drexler style ) Leslie Alexander definetly needs to be replaced because he is also starting to be a pain in the ass with his dreams of Tracy & Yao winning a championship. A new owner will do some good, just look at 1993, maybe some1 who wants to build a young team instead of the win-now mode every season.
How would people feel if after the trade deadline, the rockets stayed put with the team they have now, and one week later T-mac comes out in the media saying "to try and help my team, i will not have the surgery and try to re-hab through this in the next 3-4 weeks so I can be fresh for the playoffs"? I for one (and I've always supported every one of Houstons players, regardless of how horrible they have played,) would definately like to see the rockets "Marbury" him and just end his career. For what he has done to this franchise and city this year, for how everyone has catered to him, payed him huge money, went out and specificaly tried to build the team around him and Yao. In this our year with the highest expectations in recent memory. Just keep him off the court and use his contract next trade deadline if the perfect deal comes along or let it expire and watch him beg the bobcats for their MLE... That would be redemption...
He season is over. Even if he didn't have the surgery there is no way you could bring him back. This whole situation that T-mac has put the organization through is ****ed up right now.
Morey and Alexander's mindset should now be to surround Yao with the right players and move on from their pie in the sky aspirations of winning a championship with the feeble minded T-Mac as their main gun. Maybe Baron Davis's contract is a little longer than they want to take on, but the time is now. A new big 3 could be Davis, Yao and Artest. With Yao at center and Davis manning the point, the rockets will finally have the head and the tail of their monster complete. The time is now.
Like i've always said. He is not truely injured. He is trying to block the trade and/or not want to play this season due to his poor performance that could jeopardize his free agent contract because he is OUT OF SHAPE.
Yea how dumb would he look going back on his word? Oh wait Tmac is a dumbass who would do something where he says he is good now. I don't see the Rockets wanting him back. Me Mac made up his mind and thats what he wants. Lets move on please.
I definitely see Les (and his enduring infatuation with all things T-Mac) wanting him back if healthy.
