Would you do us a favor and take Brad Miller? I for one - and I know I'm not alone here - don't want him. I'd rather resign Mo and Shandon next year. To me, that would put us beyond the 'rebuilding' scope... You will be 'rebuilding' for another three years at least for one simple reason - NO ONE WANTS TO PLAY FOR THE BULLS!!! ------------------
Charlotte will match any offer at the league average for SEVEN years.......DAMN RIGHT....If Mercer doesn't throw in 24 ppg this year, he's not worth 3 million, being the only person other than Brand that can score.......Rice will never play in Chicago, Let's say he does sign for thisthree month thing, who in god's name would trade for his 9-million dollar contract? Which means, Rice has to want to play, and Miller was offered a 5 million $ contract to which he said, I'll hold out for another offer, cheaper, in a better city LIKE HOUSTON IF IT WORKED.....He'd definately rather play in houston for 3-4 million dollars than 5 million in Chicago......How do you expect to compete with us?? Every single ranking system on the net has us in or just outside the playoffs, and YOU going for a 3rd pick in next year's draft since you won't be bad enough to pick up baby shaq with the number one.....you'll be like second or third worst, the truth hurts, but u gotta accept it........ ------------------
I just don't think he gets it. (Roy D sheep that is..) His latest post has Finley going to the Bulls next season - trying to reason with this sort of maniac is useless! What do they put in the water in Chicago?? Bullsfans "we'll get Duncan, we'll get Hill, we'll get McGrady" oops.. didn't work out - so they still stink and no-one wants to play there, so what's next? "we'll get Finley, we'll get Webber" ....... ------------------
That is the most unreadable piece of garbage I have ever seen posted on this BBS! Now, that having been said, let me make a few points. Cato is not worth $7 million a year and neither is Mercer. The only reason he got his bigpayday from the Bulls is because they couldn't get Hill, Duncan or McGreedy. I mean they had to spend their money on someone! Mercer was never "thoughted" to be a max player. Can you make any more broad of a statement?! No $hit the success of the team weighs heavily on the decision of where a free agent is going to sign! Who wants to play for a loser?! Obviously Hill, Duncan, and McGreedy don't so they didn't sign with Chicago. Get used to that because it's going to be that way for quite awhile. OH, I highly doubt Finley is going to leave a good situation in Dallas with a player friendly owner, a much better chance to win and the ability to make more money than Chicago can offer. You seem to hear alot of things but can never seem to provide any support for your arguements. If you think Miller is going to sign a contract like that, it's time to put down the crack pipe and step away. Contracts grow in value, not decrease as the years go by. To answer your question, yes Charlotte has the right of first refusal. Miller is a restricted free agent. Aren't there some lonely sheep you should be screwing? ------------------ Don't you have anything better to do? [This message has been edited by RocketsPimp (edited August 28, 2000).]
I thought you were talking about my post at first.. heck it was bad, but unreadable ------------------
By the way, this new Brad Miller/Glen Rice thing where they'll be traded if they're unhappy is te SADEST thing to ever happen in the NBA.....Look how DESPERATE you are..... ------------------
Somebody please tell this guy to stop believing Bulls,'cause no one wants to work for jerry the looser. By the way, How' Matt Maloney doin' up ther in windy city, Now a day's. ------------------ Rudy T. will find and fulfill Rockets destiny.
Dear Lord, Make me a bird, so I can fly far...far far away from here. Say it with me!!! Geeze, let this thread die! ------------------ There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness."
Hoop-T, it's my bad. I couldn't resist doing my sheep impression. I can see now that it was a bad idea. ------------------ "Stranger things have happened, but none stranger than this" - Commentator after a parachutist landed in the ring of a Holyfield fight
If Khalid Amin can pry himself away from the two billion Dunkin Donut shops in Chicago, he just might be able to make the Bulls injured reserve roster. Never mind though, the Bulls are so freakin desperate they will sign a 300 pound Amin (damn it making fun of Amin is no fun, because thats what my name is too). This has to be the most stupidest thread on the BBS ever. And this sheep fu#king Macedonian the stupidest fan ever. ------------------ Fun Police Says: 1. Stupid threads are not FUN! 2.
