So is Cory from Macedonia, Ohio or Macedonia, Greece or Macedonia formally yugoslavia?

I didn't know they showed NBA games in Greece or yugoslavia. If he hasn't seen any NBA games then I know where his ignorance about the NBA comes from.

But as the saying goes "Ignorance is not an excuse"

    Corey, where are you?

Do you realize now that the Rockets, a team with NO caproom, happened to sign two of the top young free agents around in Cuttino Mobley and Mo Taylor? While the Bulls, a team with 15 million dollars, could only manage Ron Mercer? (and possibly Brad Miller but I still doubt that)

    Who's the joke now? [IMG]

The beautiful thing is that for the same amount of money the bulls are paying Mercer per season, we got Mobley AND Taylor AND we still have some pocket money.....

Miller turned down the bulls offer of 5million per season because he just doesn't want to play in Chicago..... cap space means nothing if nobody wants to go there!!

Hell, who would WANT to play in Chicago? They suck!

Who would have thought the Chicago Bulls would be the Clippers of the new millenium?

I think you guys scared him back to Macedonia.

(BTW, for whoever posted it, Milosevic is not Macedonian, he's Serbian, and the Macedonians are our nominal 'allies' against Slobodan)

Ok. Lets see, this was my third new profile. This guy (administrator) sure knows when and how to kick me off from this BBS.
For the record,I ain't going anywhere.
I wanna thanks this non-american persons who gave me some kind of support about being from a small country like Macedonia.
I was looking ahead to see some kind of a Bulls board around the internet, and I found it on ChicagoTribune's site.
I don't need you anymore, but I see that my thread is still active and I decided to write something.
Lets see - Rockets add Collier,Langji and Taylor.
Bulls add - Mercer,Tarlac,Rice,Fizer,Crawford,El-Amin,Miller and Guyton.

YEAH, I got to admit, the Rockets went better this offseason.
player - RICE - your comment, Oh he was just a third option in LA behind Shaq and Bryant. He's old and slow ... (my answer, even Francis would serve like third option there, and if there is no "slow and aging veterans" in the NBA right now, the Bulls and the Rockets should reach the finals this year)
player - MILLER - your comment, Another whity center who can't get his job done... (my answer,so why are you pursuing him with your "small" $4.5M exception?)
player - MERCER - your comment, he can just shoot and do nothing... (my answer, ok we got another Cuttino Mobley in Chicago)
players - FIZER, CRAWFORD - your usual comment about good rookie players going to Chicago is this one "They haven't played a single second in NBA till now" . That's fu...ing true, but what will be when they begin playing that first second of theirs.
players - TARLAC - just watch the Olympics in Sidney.

I little Irony talk now - Oh...yeah...well...I got to admit, the Rockets destroy us this offseason. They signed all the players we wanted. All future All-Stars or players with great upside. They (Rockets) were sheduled to make the playoffs like 6th in west (hahahah) without Taylor, I can't see what will happen with this guy now.
The Rockets improved so much over other western conference teams this year...scary thougtht, can they be among 4 best teams in west with this team (hahahhah)

    I can't wait to see this ....
    Rice-SF-Williams
    Brand-PF-Taylor
    Tarlac-C-Cato
    Crawford-PG-Francis
    Mercer-SG-Anderson

    bench
    Chicago (Artest,Fizer and Brad Miller)
    Houston (Mobley,Olajuwon ???,Kenny Thomas???)

This should be a close one... hahahahahahha

    See you all later.

Hey Roy, be reasonable....Tarlac doesn't have experience and he'll have to wait another year till he makes an impact...and Olajuwan is the starting Center, who beats out Tarlac definately.....I take Taylor over Brand, Taylor averaged 17 in the west, Brand Averaged 20 in the East.....Brand was in his first year?? Mo was with the Clippers.....AND Mercer will have a hard time against Anderson.....Can't defend Mobley.....Francis will torch every PG on your team, Crawfors, EL AMIN, AND GUYTON, just he liked he torched Payton ALL SEASON....Oh yeah, Payton is one of the best defenders in the league, right?? OH, Miller and Rice haven't been signed yet, and if ur ok with signingf miller at more than 4.8 million, then take him and have fun....IF u sign Rice, he might beat out Williams...But Rice isn't signed yet either.......Is there anything left?? I take my bench any day, Fizer will get pissed and won't play up to his potential.....Mobley, Moochie, Langhi, Thomas, and Cato off the bench.....I think we're gonna do a......not much.....we just might beat you and have a FEW THOUSAND more wins.....

I know i gave u support, but i will give my opinion, and u have to be reasonable......The Grizzlies are better than you, you don't win 6 championships every day you know..........

Oh, and even if u DO sign Miller and Rice, We'll be much better.....hahaha, and if our exceotion, the small one, is what we're pursuing Miller with is not anough and "small" as u put it.....Go ahead, we'll see who'll regret what.......

You're pathetic. Look at the guys you put on your list. Rice and Miller have not signed, and probably won't. El-Amin and Guyton are second round picks who don't have a lot of potential in this case. Tarlac is about the most unproven player in the world right now. The percentages of Europeans who actually play well in NBA ball is not very great. Let's look at who both Chicago and Houston have signed:

Houston: Cuttino Mobley, Jason Collier, Dan Langhi, Maurice Taylor

Chicago: Ron Mercer, Marcus Fizer, Jamal Crawford, Dragan Tarlac

If you ask me, Houston has had the MUCH better summer. I just hope you're looking forward to another 20 win season and watching us win almost 50. Have fun!

I'm sorry to say but what would you really know about the NBA anyway??????? Living in Macedonia you probably wouldn't have even seen a live game. Plus what would you then know about rookies coming from college? You ever seen Fizer play? Doubt it! But Fizer is expected to be a good pick but what PT is he gunna get behind (YOUR THEORY) Rice and Brand? Fizer will just sit and wait until there is an injury or he'll just end up like Cato did in Portland. And by the way.......if Chicago are soooooo good, why did they pick Fizer knowing he would be a bench player.......why not Stevenson? See if the Chicago coaching and scouting staff had things called "BRAINS" they would have looked abit harder at what situation they were in. Now I'm not saying the Rcokets made the best move in the world by getting Collier (Langhi is going to be a steal!) but Rudy looked at all the options he had. And you Bulls will be very sorry they gave up Mihm!

While I could pontificate all day long about how Houston's players are better than Chicago's, even IF they werent all I have to say is:

    Rudy T. vs. Tim Floyd

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

You really have a laughing stock of a coach to go along with your laughing stock of a GM and an owner. Well see, but youll probably have a laughing stock of a team this year.

They were all born and raised as 'Yugoslavians'. As far as I'm concerned, they still are, much as Hakeem is still Nigerian, even though he lives in the US. I will concede your point on a technicality.

I would like to point out, however, that while not technicaly at war, the Macedonians have managed to murder their share of innocent Serbian refugees. Being our ally certainly doesn't implicity confer virtue on anyone.

    I only have one question.

Why the hell are you talking about Rice being a Bull. He hasn't signed with Chicago and would be a complete idiot to do so! That would be the worst decision of his playing career!

The Bulls don't have enough money to sign both Rice AND Miller, it's one or the other, that of course depends on whether or not either one of them WANTS to go to Chicago. I'm of the understanding that Miller turned the Bulls $5million per season offer down already - why?? Well he doesn't want to play in Chicago.

Why would Rice want to play in Chicago?

Why are Chicago Bulls fans SO deluded that they can't even accept the fact that their team is NOT destined for greatness this year?

The Bulls were convinced that by clearing salary they were guaranteed of the signatures of Duncan and Hill. They seem to have forgotten that people actually have to WANT to play in you city before you can sign them. Maybe once they learn that they'll know how to court players and may be able to sign some FA's for reasonable deals (NB Mercer at $7million per season is QUITE unreasonable, especially considering the fact that he was touted as an "exception man" for much of the summer.

    To Dr NudeBauer...
If Cato is worth $7M a year, then Mercer certainly is.I mean you gave Mercer that kind of money, and he was a 5ppg scorer before in Portland. At least Mercer was thoughted to be a MAX player now (before 2-3 years),so at least I can say his last year was only just a bad one. Now I can only watch him reaching his potential this season.
And If we made a mistake with him, then we wont exercise our team option to 4th season, and he is gone in 2003. Hey Cato, see you like a free agent in 2006.
This free agent period I learned that #1 priority for every free agent is his native town (McGrady) or succes of the team (most of the guys).
According to this, the Bulls have a best chance to land Finley next year, they will have the most money again availible (16-18M),and hopefully they will reach 30-35 wins range next year.
    * I've read somewhere that the Bulls told both Rice and Brad Miller, they could sign with Chicago and if they don't like it there after 3 months can be traded in a team they desire.
PS - I can see it happen (Brad Miller for Jermaine O'Neal)
Also, nobody said B.Miller doesn't accept Bulls' offer of $25M/5Y. He is just waiting to see if Charlotte is capable of doing a sign-and-trade with another team.

Also, yes we can sign them both.
Brad Miller - $4M in first year.
Glen Rice - $9M in first year.
I've heard somewhere that Chicago still have something like $13M free cap space.

FOR THE END - One question for you my experts
What if a team like Chicago offers Brad Miller a contract like this one...can Charlotte match it with their right of first refusal.
    00-01 $4M
    01-02 $3.71M
    02-03 $3.43M
    03-04 $3.14M
    04-05 $2.86M

    ???
