What about Nathan Jawai? He is 6'10" 280. Dallas just picked him up in a trade w/Toronto, either he or Ryan Hollins will be availabe. Since they offered the mid-level to Gortat and they already have Dampier that will make 4 centers. No one wants Dampier - even if he was playing for free!!!!

What do you guys think about a trade with either Milwaukee or Indiana? Milwaukee seems to be dumping a lot of salary...

Rockets Get: Michael Redd & Andrew Bogut
Bucks Get: Tracy McGrady & Brent Barry/Brian Cook

--It works salary wise, we get a lights out shooter, and a center that we need who can give you a double-double each night.

--I dont know what Milwaukee is trying to do but they get two expiring contracts.

Or another trade that i would like to see is with Indiana..

Rockets Get: Mike Dunleavy & Troy Murphy
    Indiana Gets: Tracy

I doubt Indiana would wanna do that though without additional incentives

    Milwaukee - HELL YES!

    Indiana - HELL NO!

The Bucks will probably want more then just TMAC and contracts because we also asking for Bogut too. Maybe Redd and Elson for TMAC?

Redd is coming off of ACL surgery and Bogut is overpaid.

Dunleavy had injury problems last year and Murphy and Dunleavy make big money for what they provide.

That would be no to each.

heres a list of some free agents still on the market:

Lamar Odom (it would be funny to still him from LA)
    Jermaine O'Neal
    Paul Millsap
    Andre Miller
    Zydrunas Iglauskas
    Eddie House
    Glen Davis
    ..

    and my personal favorite

    Ryan Bowen

realistically, the FA signing should be wafer.

the trade for a center is tough to call. especially when you consider that morey won't take on any overpriced players. i guarantee you that this won't be as sexy as people are hoping for...

realistically we're looking at the kwame browns and francisco elsons of the nba.

Ryan Bowen gains more respect every time I think about his career. He fought his way into the league at age 24, missed a year because nobody wanted him, and yet still perseveres. He's been in the NBA for 9 seasons... living the life while having career earnings of over $7.5 million.

    Not bad.

i think we should sign marvin williams for his athleticism and potential. and work out a deal with the bobcats that would send tmac + someone for gerald wallace and okafor. then possibly work out a sign and trade for jr smith for battier.
this fills our need for a center, we get a defensive specialist in wallace, allowing battier to become more expendable, and it deepens our bench so that we're larger and more athletic. This may be a little envious but i think if we can pull it off we'll have a good shot this year.

Odom - realistically not coming here, not a need
O'Neal - picked up his option, not a FA
    Millsap - Not happening
Miller - Not a need with us going younger
Ilgauskas - picked up his option
House - picked up his option
Davis - possible but not likely.

frankly, i would like Morey to look at Kleiza. he's extremely athletic, a clutch shooter during the playoffs, and hella young. he's a RFA, whose qualifying offer from Denver is $2.7M.

i realize that we already have Battier, Ariza, Barry, JTaylor, Budinger (and possibly White) at the 3, with Scola, Landry, and Hayes at the 4, but Kleiza would be a legit role player to have coming off the bench in the event that Landry, White, Barry, and others are traded away.
