Sign a center. Trade for a center. Sign and trade for a center.

    Just get a center. Please.

Replace Landry with Battier in that offer and we're in business. Charlotte might be interested in bringing in a Duke guy...

Agreed he and amare stoudamire would be my two dream pickups, aside from all the obvious others meaning LBJ, Bryant, Wade etc. The Rox would be deadly with both of these two guys. My question is....isnt JR signed already? OR is he a restricted free agent this year or so? Would love his three's, dunks, and straight up athleticism.

Why do you hate Battier so much?

First off, I don't think we can trade Landry to Charlotte because of that whole offer sheet thing last year. Secondly, you wouldn't rather trade Battier than Landry? Especially considering our big free agent signing, Ariza, plays the exact same position/role as Battier and is 6 years younger?

    The list is horrible......

Resign Wafer and sign our 2nd rounders and just play it safe. We are not winning a ring next year anyways. Lets stockpile a bunch of young, un developed talent and hope one or two becomes a gem....

Morey said he was going to trade for a center....
Why don't we do what Memphis is doing?
Offer iverson our MLE for one year?
anyone care to share their opinion?

If Morey can not use the MLE to improve the front court then yes, AI for the MLE and for just 1 year. He can still command a double team to open things for the teams shooters like Ariza.

The only center discussed I'd be interested in is Okafor, and I doubt Charlotte is giving up. They're not intersted in rebuilding, they want to build a playoff team, even if it's an 8 seed so they can generate some fan interest. What is the point in picking up a mediocre C like Pryz that gets in the way of 2010 cap space, to make us suck a little less this year? Pick up a cheap young guy like R. Swift or O'Bryant just to see what they've got, let Dorsey/Hayes fill in the rest. Or just start Landry at C to give him more minutes. People need to realize this team isn't headed to the playoffs and it's better to be 15th than 9th.
