Doubt he plays tonight if they just signed him today. I always liked Mike Harris. Hopefully there was some kind of understanding that they give Green another look in the off season. It's not like the kid can get any big money contract next year.

I am a little nervous about this! If Landry is just out of a couple of games, it seems the rockets needn't cut Green to sign Harris. Hopefully, I am wrong and everything is ok. :(

Well it does in the aspect of being able to re-sign him. I wouldn't think you would be particularly happy about being waived by your hometown team that you used to dream about playing for. Rashard Lewis didn't like being slighted by us, Mike James. I just hope the relationship is still intact to where we can sign him in the offseason. I know I'm bias, but I see him as a big part of our future

Wait a minute... so Mike Harris was already hanging around when they signed him? Is he from Houston (he was a Rice player after all) or has he just been stalking Daryl Morey begging for a job?

For the same reason that Landry is getting playing time. Green must have not done anything in practice. Probably had a low bball IQ and work ethic, Green played one game and then disappeared to the inactive list. I think the young man has potential but he can't rest on just his athletic ability, learn the game and give 200% in practice, games and in the offseason.

Great I feel much better, so he has two messed up knees! :p Truthfully, it is probably better it is his other knee. Probably just a bruise then.

    Wooow ... splash!

I feel sorry for Green, I was looking forward to see him more on the court ... but hey that's life in the NBA! Good luck, Gerald!

And welcome back Mike ... don't be the bad apple (Bobby Jackson's words :D ) and keep the winning streak going!

I can 't wait to see the Rockets play tonight!

Another tweener 6'6 forward is all we need!

who's going to play tonite? J Will or Mike Harris?

who's going to guard Chandler and pick n roll?

Is Chandler a 7' pogo stick?

Chris Paul and Chandler alley-oops show tonite.

all the jubilation over the acquisition of Green looks pretty silly right now.

darn thats sad news to lose gerald green after all he said about houston, anyways i guess this is a good move but now we got a lot of power fowards, undersized at that too, and they are all the same type of players scola, hayes, harris, and landry. couldnt we get a solid center? maybe a trade for nenad kristic
