Kevin Love started following Ariza on twitter yesterday/today, it's probably nothing but it's all we got.

King Drew followed him not the other way around, but Drew knows some stuff, he isn't claiming to be an insider, he just hears some stuff through other people.

Yea, just followed him today/yesterday though. IT PROBABLY means nothing. I was just sharing. It's a nice little glimmer of hope when there isn't much information out there about anything.

yep. and this is not "insider" info lol. Think about it this way too....Ariza's market value was like 10-11 million. So was he told the Rockets had big plans?

I never claimed a follow on twitter was insider information, just a fun little thing to point out...

I don't think that's a possibility. I don't think taking 2 million less a season is going to help us get Love. Only plans that fits into is flipping Ariza down the line to clear cap-room because the salary isn't absurd. I don't think he was cool with being an asset, but as he learned the last time he dated Morey, there are always prettier girls for Daryl. It's crazy we didn't have to overpay.

So we have to trade Asik, sign Ariza, and match Parsons in under 9 hours?

Is there something we don't know about?

Also, we've got half a tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark, and we're wearing sunglasses.

Pretty sure Ariza needs to go through today, either by direct SnT or folding the Asik trade into it. If we use cap space, we lose the MLE and BAE.

My preference is a direct SnT, with Ariza slightly altering the original deal to take $8.5 in the first year instead of $8.6 (as mentioned by Bima. He will still get his full $32 million). That gives the Rockets more flexibility with the Asik trade to move the pick to another team and take back additional salary if necessary.

Essentially, we should know whether the rockets will stay above the cap (i.e. get TPEs) or use cap space by the end of the day, as Parsons would eliminate the vast majority of our cap space.

And that's exactly what I think will happen. But not because I say so _ it's because it's Trevor.

Just like it was because it was Garcia, Crappi, Delfino, etc. Guys like that flash every now and again but then they wake up and fall back to earth.

So, if Trevor isn't officially signed by 11 PM, then it's a definite he's coming via S&T?
