When he plays nowhere near his contract-year level, I'm not above saying "I told you so."

Everyone saying steal needs to realize that last year is the first time he was a good shooter.

For those who don't want to match Parsons.

What is you think you are going to do with this space between being over the cap and under the tax?

Would like to see the Rockets spend the remaining cap space on Marion and Nelson then match Parsons offer sheet. Also sign Okafor or Blatche with the room exemption. That's a deep team:

    Beverley/Nelson/Canaan
Harden/Daniels/Garcia (who are we kidding, he's coming back for vet min.)
    Parsons/Ariza
    Marion/Jones/D-Mo
    Howard/Blatche

Still hope we bring Parsons back, 8 million a year isn't bad though

Is it the first and last time he is going to be a great perimeter defender, our biggest area of need?

Ariza better not be a replacement for Parsons.

Oh dear god, I will lose my **** if that happens.

I think they'll match Parsons. 8 per still gives you plenty of cap space to play with.

That is cheaper than he was rumored to go, so in that sense it's a good deal. That 4th year might be kind of bad.

I think they keep Parsons. Might have one other small move before they officially match though. Need more depth.
