Reggie Williams is what James Anderson should be. I see no need for both of them. Cut Anderson loose and sign Diebler (pure shooter). I don't put much stock into his bad numbers from Charlotte. That's a brutal situation and not one that role players like Williams usually excel in. He'll do much better in Houston with more open looks and better utilization.
If Morey says he is a shooter then who am I to disagree? There may be other factors at bay, locker room presence etc.
from his stats it looks like he was injured the last 2 years so the shooting percentage is probably not indicative of his true prowess

Yes you are right they could have cut smith instead but just my opinion between Greg Smith and Anderson, it was always going to be Anderson. I don't think that was ever a long decision for them. Anderson showed moments of brilliance but even in summer league he is just to inconsistent.
Looks like he had a solid first 2 seasons than went to crap the last 2 due a trade to the NBA's butthole in Charlotte and injuries.
Depends on if their contract is guaranteed. If its not, they could be cut before the season starts (as we often do).
