Euroleauge steals leader I think and that fits the culture/identity rebuild of DEFENSE!

Exactly. Send him to the G. After they're done bring him up and throw him to the wolves. This is how you counter not getting Wemby. By the time Wemby comes in, Butler will have a season of NBA play under his belt. Plus he will have probably added about 10+ pounds of muscle on once he joins in with the group in their workouts.

Looks good. Easily better than Nix and a veteran presence at a discount. Nice signing.

WTF??!! 29 yrs old??!! Get that old man outta here! This is a re-build. Not a re-tirement.

If Pierria makes the team, it would be on a two-way contract. I'll defer to you about his game, but I like what I'm reading here. Still, the likeliest scenario here is that Pierra is heading to the Vipers.

I'm reading that he asked Fenerbahce to free him because he wanted to go back to the US for family reasons. So he could accept a G-League stance, therefore the signing. Certainly, otherwise it would have been a weird signing at this time, making him compete for a final roster spot at the end of training camp with no preseason games left to play.

Should the Rockets waive Nix and sign Jared Butler? I'm surprised that Danny Ainge waived him. If his heart condition is normal, then it might be worth giving him a chance.

He just signed with Baskonia. Comes back.
Honestly, don't understand what happened here with him and the Rockets...

Weird thing about it is this was his 2nd go-round with the Rockets (or almost go-round). He apparently was on the Rockets 2015 Summer League roster... I don't recall his name, though.
