My sentiments exactly on that last bit. Such an odd choice but I don’t think Morey is trying to tank our season.

I totally see your point. Honestly. But I think for an end-of-the-rotation guy, this is an acceptable risk. It's not like he's being brought in to replace Ariza.

I agree. Though they could have gotten a Bobby Brown or Aaron Jackson replacement, this isn't "the missing piece" or anything like that

Good signing for the minimum, but we aren't done yet.

I'm glad we can agree on something. But I don't even see the point of having a guard that can't shoot on this team. His value will decrease when MDA determines he's a liability because teams keep purposely leaving him open. This isn't like Patrick Beverley. MCW will NEVER be a shooter

Beating up on Steph Curry isn't very impressive though. I'd like to see how he did against a decent defender.

Is he Shaun Livingston right now? No. Could he be who Shaun Livingston is now in time, in the right situation? Sure. Shaun Livingston is a guy that before he found his role on the Warriors, was almost out of the league. I understand a bad injury played part in that, but also no clear role did as well. MCW may be a flop of a signing, like I said, I'm not the biggest fan of his, but I dont think it's as bad of a signing as some think. I do think MCW has the potential to be serviceable like Livingston is for the Warriors. My comparison is based on potential and in that sense, I believe it is valid.

No he can't. MCW isn't all of a sudden going to change into playing like SL. wheres this "potential" coming from. hes not that type of player.

Livingston is one of the first guys off the GS bench. MCW would be a last resort. not much of a comparison

What did JJ contribute last season? Yeah. MCW is no big improvement either.

I get that his role is to take the least important point guard spot on the roster but with wilson chandler going to the sixers mcw is really starting to look like the guy we're going to use to fill the hole that ariza has left. ffs

We were left with no choice but to make this move after the Warriors sealed the deal for Cousins last night.

You actually don't know this so get off your high horse. Did you think Gerald Green would be a contributor on a near championship team? All of your posts are negative.
