    Hmm, underpaid, overconfident in his shot, extremely fast moving, excellent defender, and is always loud and disgruntled and creates major lockerroom problems? :p That would be the anti-ryno.

    This isn't the time to have bad players work on stuff they're bad at doing, during a season we're trying to beat GS. It's a waste of time & cap space. If a guy can't shoot he has no business playing for the Rockets at this point

    The only reason Gerald Green is on the Rockets is due to James Harden who recommended him to Morey. Morey hadn't even thought about him.

    For the minimum salary this is a low risk move. If he sucks in the system the Rockets can cut him with minimal impact.

    If Morey sees something in him, well it’s worth a shot.

    It’s a one year deal for the league minimum. His stock is low and he’ll have two Hall of fame point guards passing him the ball. At worst they cut him in training camp.

    Explain to me the purpose of signing a guy who can't shoot on a team that breaks all kinds of shooting records every year? YOU may need to stop posting for justifying this

    So Morey should look for ONLY players who can shoot lights-out? He shouldn't even attempt to address our problems in other areas like lack of quickness on perimeter defense?

    We may be a team built primarily on 3-pt and paint shooting, but we're not built exclusively on that. Other areas need improvement. It's not the worst thing in the world to have a guy at the end of the rotation who can get in front of quick guards when they're making us look silly.

    If this ends up being our only FA signing, I'll be disappointed. As a minor roster move, it barely moves the needle. Definitely not worth crying about.
