No reason and I get that the odds are stacked against him. But he's in his physical and mental prime been away from the NBA and has a ton of talent. I also think he's the type of player from as talent standpoint that fits with Harden. I expect them to have some good chemistry. At worst Beasley should get and insane amount of mid range jumpers right above the freethrow line.
The way this season is going Beasley will go 20/10 for about 7 games before he a career ending knee injury.
Agree. Josh smith would be a lot more valued in today's nba than he was when he was in his prime in ATL. Ideally he's the perfect PF when he was in his prime in the modern NBA as it is now. Any player like harden curry Westbrook Lebron would do well with draymond green and that's what smith was Before he got old. smith is washed up but he's still decent insurance on this team.
This is ridiculous. Josh smith was never an efficient offensive player; poor shooting and high turnovers.
I'm not saying he's exactly like green but there games a re similar. At one time josh was one of the best defensive players in the league. He fouks rebound and is perfect at playing a pick n roll offense. You don't have to be a great shooter to be a useful player. His skill set is perfect to compliment Any superstar wing player in today's nba when he was in his prime. Green shot worse from 3 than josh smith up till this year. Elite defense with playmaking ability from the pf spot is a luxury almost every team in the NBA wouod love to have and that's what smith was 6 years ago. He would be a lot less TO prone in today's game with more space. The game wasn't like this even 5 years ago. Draymond free would have been high TO 5-6 years ago too. Temas weren't bombing 25-30 threes a game league wide.
33% which is the same as smith last year with the rockets. This year he's been great. Think around 40%
Okay cool, thanks for the correction. I was just saying those numbers off the top of my head. I don't think Green is a particularly gifted shooter (despite shooting great percentages this year) but he's doing a great job of knocking down the open looks Curry and co. Create.
Beasley had to be moved so the Heat could sign LBJ, Wade and Bosh. He never played with them. Can't be missing fact when you put an opinion out there.
I think he has a chance mainly because I think he might finally be motivated enough now. We need him to add energy, so hopefully he will be positive whether he is on his game or not, playing or not.
