    How in the world do all these guys know each other, I thought the US was huge :grin::cool: I feel kinda better about this signing, it's entertainment at it's best and a little more crazy wouldn't hurt. I doubt he gets playing time though.

    These days, all the top young prospects know each other from AAU.

    However, some of you here are even more delusional than I thought if you expect Beasley to provide anything positive... or even more laughable - 'turn his career around'.

    Eh, it's happened before. It's happened with this franchise before. Can't blame others for having a bit of hope.

    Beasley's problems weren't his actual skill or toolset, it was his mindset. If that's changed I definitely could see him providing something this team desperately needs, a dude that doesn't need Harden to score points. Even if it's just 12ppg or something.

    I'm in this camp as well. These moves are to get CHEAP talent on the roster to fill slots AND maintain flexibility for 2 Max contracts. Maybe they will work out / contribute or maybe they won't, but it is a low risk gamble.

    Beasley effectively takes TJones place when they let him go in FA.

    He might get you 12, but he'll give up more than that with awful defense and boneheaded mistakes. He's always been, and always will be a net negative.

    Gerald Green still sucks IMO.

    Rockets fan since 82. Season tickets for 19 years. In all those games, I have never seen another player with a worse on court demeanor than MB.
