Beasley has a higher ceiling the Putney. Putney would defiantly be better than Brewer..but that'll have to wait till next season.

Why are so many people upset by this. He played great in China. He can still hoop. I'm not sure how much this will help with recruiting Durant but can't hurt to have a guy that he calls his brother on the team along with James. Truthfully picking up Josh last year brought a toughness that we needed. Maybe this will have the same effect. Definitely doesn't hurt to have him on a min deal for this season and a team option for next. Hell if he works out we have him on a great deal.

 

Beasley is going to love playing in this "offense"!

 

Morey continues to take chances on high talent low character players. But since this is a low cost signing, why not. If he doesn't work out, we can just discard him like a dirty rag, right?
