Okay. The team option makes much more sense than the PO reported earlier. It made little sense that Morey would give a PO to McDaniels of all players given how much he hates giving POs. It also made little sense because with a PO McDaniels would be a pretty bad asset all things considered. If we trade him next offseason as part of the go-for-Durant campaign, that team option would look so much more attractive to another team.
That was November, but he was taking 3.1 per. I don't see why he can't be average. His mechanics don't look terrible, and he's not going to try to shoot off the bounce.

Sure expect him to. If he does not get burn I assume he will be traded. He will be a star somewhere in the NBA. IMHO

Would love to see him with 1st unit, he and Ariza closing down the perimeter. Another shot blocker on that unit would be sweet too. KJ needs to get a consistent 3ball.
Imagine a lineup with Bev - KJ - Ariza - Capela - Howard That's the definition of absolute complete defense. I'd be surprised if the other team can score more than 10 points in a quarter against the defensive juggernaut of a lineup.
