I think he was the only guy that could drive to the basket on our team and it put pressure on his entire game. He worked hard under Ime on his defense and made great strides. I think he will be much better in a different offensive system. I wish him the best except next year when I hope he sucks, for our pick’s sake.

That is more or less where I am but with less verbosity:)

As a Hemingway fan, I appreciate simple true sentences. Of course, I’m also a Faulkner fan, which may be an indication of my verbosity and tendency to make up new words.

I also was sad to see Jalen go but he was an infuriating player to root for…
Gotta agree about him being a hard worker and a good kid, best of luck to him truly. KPJ and CAM I do not miss even a little, good riddance.

To my eye, at least, Jalen's problem (as an NBA player) is that his focus always seemed equally split between being a star player and being a brand, not understanding that becoming a star first allows you to build a brand pretty easily.

The Guard wrecking Crew of Harper, Castle, Fox and Vassell .....those are killers and potent without Wemby.

Not to say Carter Bryant is projected to be a defensive menace.

Easily distracted by thots, Instagram, etc..... and being some model at Fashion Weeks.

I mean he took workouts seriously enough but you could see he was not only about bball.

He was too much Kardashian for me.

Phoenix showed they don't need him to play big minutes, if his shot is on 30 mpg, if not 26 minutes.

Jordan Ott is the right guy for the Suns so likely they won't be bad just mediocre.

KD did a lot for Phoenix but was also a ball stopper, they needed to get out of his shadow.

A lot of players are distracted by that stuff, even the MVP caliber ones. The ones that are only about ball are a rarity. Our last MVP frequented strips clubs all around the country and literally dated a Kardashian during his prime.

Jalen had the work ethic and attitude to succeed here. His teammates loved him and he never sulked even when benched. I just wish he had the talent and bball IQ to go with it. If he had the talent he could've been like Anthony Edwards, who has some off court distractions of his own. If he had bball IQ along with those athletic gifts, well the sky would have been the limit.

This is what happens when you mistake mid role player for something else

They have to trade him for something better. There's a sucker out there that believes the hype.

He can't even be as good as Ryno and he got a shitload of forced hate here

Seriously. He needs to go. You can’t watch him play and think he has a high ceiling. His floor isn’t even impressive either. You know how bad u gotta be to look bad playing with KD and Sengun?

Guys have been straight going at Jabari lately and scoring at will. He's being targeted on defense and getting cooked. And he's not making anything on offense. He gets away with being a no-show every other game. We really drafted him with 3rd overall pick..

He's in the tier of Patrick Patterson, Maurice Taylor, a washed channing fryer, brian cook, that chucker Celtic walker...
