Probably got stuck in traffic. Thats just how LA is. Seriously don't get why people like Conroy. Last time we had him, he was terrible. Had us missing Garrett Temple.
Yes, Conroy was terrible. It was his first shot. He did play great in pre-season however, even better than Lowry that particular year. Conroy has game. And he did come back to RGV. He did come back to the organization. I think we should give him another shot myself.
Hope that poor Fortson kid shakes it off and gives us some quality minutes in the next nine days. He touched the ball three times and turned it over twice. Yikes! That's gotta mess with his mind-- hopefully it'll make him pissed and determined to play smarter. If he isn't our third-string PG, I hope Conroy gets a shot. Get well soon, Kyle!
Just realized this guy came from LA. Did we pick him up because he was the guy in the town we were in??
it was probably just a lil something on the side from that trade that Morey probably squeezed in but was not included in the news. His plan from the start never once included Fisher in our city. Wouldnt be surprised if Morey even contacted Fishers agents and told him not to even come.
I just thought this too He was part of the LA D-Fenders and the Rockets were in LA against the Clippers. Did they just decide to pick this guy up along the way because he was in town? Haa.
Not that I think this will happen with Courtney, but there's a story about a soon to be famous jazz composer named Kenny Dorham, who lived in Austin Texas. He was only 16 at the time, and he went out to catch some band that was in town from NYC. The bands trumpeter had gotten sick and were asking people in the crowd if anyone played trumpet; Kenny spoke up, and wound up playing with the band all night long. After the gig they told him, "You're getting on the bus!". It was his ticket to the jazz Mecca, and where he became a jazz legend. From what we saw tonight Courtney isn't horrible, but I don't think he's legendary. Sorry to go off on a tangent

It's another Mike Harris, Marcus Cousin type signing. Unguaranteed money as possible off-season trade filler or training camp fodder that doesn't count towards the cap.
Yes rofl. We were in LA, Fisher was not reporting, so we signed somebody. Right place at the right time. His first two games (road b2b), he had to play with a jersey that had no name on the back.
