Also, just to further validate: Justin Anderson will be 6/7 man off of bench this year and avg. 18-24 mpg. Huge jump and nice if you're a DFBB player who can spot diamonds on the occasional whim.

Rubio still very, very likely out. Trade won't happen tonight. Likely in the coming days or weeks.

    Legitimate bump.

David Aldridge just tweeted asking if a Beverley for Rubio swap could make sense. MK Bower and Clutch went on to discuss. Something to watch I guess....

Honestly, I would do this 110% everyday of the week. I know what I've said in the past but if it was a straight swap Id do it. Bring rubio off the bench and let him run the offense when harden is sitting or wants to play off ball.

Add Bima to that conversation as well.

If it were to happen, we'd need more shooters.

Yeah I was thinking of that too.

Beverley is a obviously a player Thibs would like. Plus Dunn is just a rookie, he's probably not going to come out averaging 35+ minutes his first season, If they trade Rubio they will need a great backup vet at the point while Dunn grows, and Beverley fits that role well.

I could see a deal like Beverley packaged with and a future 1st and one of our young players (KJ, Harrell or Dekker) for Rubio.

Would be a win/win deal. Plus I would like our chances of bringing over Llull to backup his friend Rubio in free agency.

Too much for Rubio. I could see Beverely and Harrell for him...nothing more.

Frankly, I don't see Rubio starting with Harden. I see him as an expensive backup playmaker that would probably be a good fit in MDAs offense.

I do like the Llull angle, and the possibility of a Llull/Rubio combo when Harden sits. Either way, we've got to get more shooting to make this work.

Id feel a lot better about a Rubio trade if he would non-guarantee the last 2 years of his deal like what Lawson did.

Go for Rubio. If anybody can make him look good it'll be D'Antoni. So what if he can't shoot, he does everything else well.

If he can be had for Bev then do it. He can't shoot, but his TS% did take a good tick up last year.

I kinda agree, it seems like nobody wants him so, i wouldn't give up Beverely and two 1st rounders, no way.

As today, i would probably offer Brewer and Beverley at best, or Brewer, KJ and a couple of 2nd rounders, nothing more.

Can't shoot, needs the ball, plus a big contract. Where exactly does he fit and what's there to like?!

I know this is all speculation, even on David Aldridge's part, but if we acquired Ricky Rubio (not saying we will), jopat would be worse on this board than Trump is now that Cameron resigned. :)

He'd be the best PG we've had on the team in over a decade.
