what are you talking about? everythings basically the same.
    last season 9ppg, 1.7spg, 8apg, 80ft%
    this season 10ppg, 2.2spg, 8apg, 82ft%

    oh wait, i found it
    last season .356fg%
    this season .361fg%

as we all know, a .5 increase in fg% for rubio is a HUUUUGE IMPROVEMENT!

It has been established that Mister clutch deems year over year changes of 1-5 % to be "significant"

10% changes are cataclysmic, and 20% changes are "holy ****, give me a gun, you just blew my mind"

It's a silly way of doing business, but sometimes internets demands the silly, to continue to maintain credibilty as a non-silly figure. Do you get it?

comparing raw stats makes no sense.

well I guess the difference is he gets more to the line and has lowered his turnovers (by a lot!)? (the ORTG AND DRTG is too much team related).

And his usage for a pg has become way too low. Only 17.7.
Also his ts% is very good this year.

You keep trying to make it about me. It's not about me. Try thinking for yourself for once

Just as one example on stats, hardens plus minus numbers have changed way more than that to the negative side.

And when you're talking about stats that are already per 100 possessions, yes 10% is a lot

But nah just keep lying to yourself. Harden is an MVP player just like last year! I'm sure he'll just get 1% fewer votes, nothing significant!

I wasnt talking about Rubio, I was referring to Harden.

Despite the fact that Rubio sucks at scoring, he puts up good plus minus numbers somehow

I still don't think he's good next to Harden.

And he probably screws up the spacing in any offensive system

Not going to post the entire article.....

No Rockets mention, but Rubio is available.

    http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/14903208/minnesota-attempt-send-ricky-rubio-speaks-volumes

Danny Ainge's Mystery Target has gotten all the post-trade deadline attention, but with the Bucks and Timberwolves facing off tonight, let's look at perhaps the most interesting deal that didn't happen on February 18th: Minnesota's push to acquire Khris Middleton.

After some initial talks, the Wolves told Milwaukee they would swap Ricky Rubio for Middelton, and when the Bucks declined, Minnesota even discussed the possibility of tossing in a protected 2016 first-round pick, per league sources familiar with the matter. Other outlets have reported Milwaukee's interest in Rubio -- Jason Kidd seems to have a thing for rangy point guards with busted jumpers -- but Milwaukee never seriously entertained trading Middleton, sources say.

Lmao you didnt have to wait long. This is known for over a week. They didnt even consider trading mids but thats the only tbe wolves wanted.. It just shows that the wolves are not seriously considering trading Rubio yet at least.

So bballholic will have to wait.

Very surprising the Bucks didn't want to trade a good NBA player for a bad NBA player. Very surprising, indeed.

I'm afraid we might be on the outside looking in on a Rubio trade. He's probably going to get moved this summer if Minny can get a mid-first and either an expiring contact or perhaps a contract with only 2 years left on it.

And I think one of Milwaukee or Utah is ready to give that price for him, which is fair value.

Perfect for Bucks. They can't shoot and their O works 'best' with the GF running it.

In case you missed it guys.

Let's bring back the debate about non-shooting Rubio

    Since All-Star break (19 games, almost quarter of a season) Rubio is averaging 12.5 PPG + 4.2 RPG + 9.3 APG + 1.8 SPG on 43.7% FG, 38.3% 3FG (1.2 3PM on 3.2 3PA) and made 91.2% of his free-throws.

    Oops.

After being available, he's close to almost untouchable now if he is looking to continue this stint till the end of the season.

Also he has emerged as a solid perimeter defender even on a scrub team, he will improve once T-Wolves (or whoever take him away) would commit to playing defense as a team.

That's still not great shooting. I mean the 3 point percentage is nice, for sure. But that was always the one part of his "shooting" that was at least acceptable.

I've always loved EVERYTHING about Rubio's game, except his ability to finish. A 19 game stretch of "ok" shooting isn't going to change that.

I'd take Rubio at a discount. Not trading anything for him unless its clear that what you are getting rid of won't help much anyway.
