Oh well finally someone has some news. Please show us the report that says Lull has accepted our offer. Don't worry, I'll wait.

Rubio, IMO, is just a lesser/younger version of Rondo from 3-4 years ago. If you thought Rondo could be a could fit, how could you be against Rubio? He's not my first choice. In my perfect world we'd be able to grab Bledsoe. But we NEED a PG upgrade. I honestly don't care if it's Lawson, Rubio, Collison, or freaking Mo Williams! Anything is an upgrade over the Grandpas.

And I don't want to hear this "but we'd be hamstrung from grabbing LMA or Love!" Didn't we just do this last year and lose out on Lowry, the guy who may have put us over the top? Get your PG upgrade, re-sign Smith & Scola, and let's roll.

Acquiring Rubio would mean that we have to jettison Brewer from the lineup. Have to replace that spot with plus 3 point shooter at that point. I think you have to look at it like that. We have to become more efficient everywhere, especially the three pointer.

Rubio isn't an awesome three point shooter or finisher. I believe he will improve at both. He does everything else well. He makes us more complex.

Ricky Rubio becomes the offensive coordinator that we are all pining for via coaching addition or change. Elite at playing the passing lanes and just has a great defensive frame. Everyone else is allowed to become more efficient. I believe you could still get Llull to come over. He becomes 6th man off the bench.

18, Future First, Jones, Pap, Dorsey, Johnson.

    Howard/Capela
    Motiejunas/Smith
    Ariza/3 point shooter
    Harden/Llull
    Rubio/Llull

Is the ultimate goal for a rotation in the playoffs.

I honestly would welcome Rubios creating ability on this team. That's how desperate we are. He still plays good D, and perhaps his shot will improve with a new setting. Worked for Smoove.

As much as I know it would drive me insane watching him miss layups and wide open jumpers, we desperately need a creating guard off of Harden.

While the scenario feels eerily similar probably to all Rockets fans, they are such different situations. Really not even close.

His shot didn't improve. He just takes better shots in limited time even though at times he still jacks up unnecessarily

LOL @ Josh Smith's shooting not being improved. You're obviously living in the past.

And you're obviously focused on the one clips game. Know what your talking about before you post. Say the guy who thinks a 37% 3 pt shooter can't shoot LOL

He's the same shooter as before. He's just getting a lot more open looks and he's taking better shots.

Do you know how dumb you sound. How many of those shots are 3 pters? Guess you failed to acknowledge that comment previously cause it made you look even more clueless then you already do. But I imagine youre some 10 year old still having difficulty understanding common sense

Better yet, how many of those are WIDE OPEN three pointers he didn't have to create himself? For as many open looks he gets, his clip is nothing to crown. And let's not act like he has a full season under his belt either. His shooting percentage has dropped EVERY YEAR. Only a fool would proclaim him a sharpshooter.

His shot has improved since he became a Houston Rocket. By what margin is debatable but nonetheless improved. Career high clip through a LONG playoff run.

Sure, he shot 33% from 3 for 60 or so games, which is a career high i believe for him. Time will tell if that was a fluke. Still, i don't like him jacking up 3's. Same ole poor shot selection. Hard to call him much of a shooter given the track-record, but he's definitely improved his %.

I don't think anyone with reasonable bball IQ wants Josh smith shooting 8 threes a game, but he showed that he is capable of hitting the open jumper if the defense isn't honest.
