How can you tell if he is not displeased that much? You don't know him personally...

I've seen him play. YAWN! If he turns out to be good, great! But dominating in drills doesn't make you an all star. Wait and see if he is actually good before throwing big contracts, even 1st round draft pick contracts, at him. Consistent excellence is the flavor that wins in the NBA, not necessarily talent or athleticism.

Now you think he shouldn't even be a 1st round draft? Uh..ok.

bad idea. I don't think he deserve the 6th pick,we need a powerful guy,he is tall enough but too thin;maybe he will be a good player in future ,just maybe and we haven't that patience.

I don't think Yi is good fit for the Rockets..

I saw several of Yi's game last year, I really do think he is a good player with lots of upside potential. But from what I see, his skill sets and mentality doesn't really match with what we need at the PF spot, not to mentioned Yi will need about 2-3 years to adjust to NBA and the US culture..

And as for Yi, I think it's better for him to capture a bigger Chinese market like Warriors or Lakers rather than sharing the Houson market with Yao...

no thanks. sorry you guys wouldn't even care if Yi wasn't chinese. If he was like from Greece or France or Senegal, 90% of you would on the where's Yao's bachelor party thread.

there is no way we would have a chance of getting Yi unless we trade Yao or T-Mac

Wait a minute, Coach K said he was good enough to start at PF for 15 teams in the NBA already during The World Championships.

Yi..well Knicks are a bad fit for him cause Isiah is crazy and racist. Warriors would have been a good fit but they made the playoffs and didn't have a chance. Portland and Seattle are loaded..no chance there. Lakers would have been an excellant place but see..the Lakers made the playoffs too and didn't have a high draft pick. But if the Lakers trade off some of those players...like get rid of Bynum for Yi, they could get it done. Obviously Kobe doesnt think much of the guy. Phoenix Suns..no way. Spurs uh uh. Yi has to go to some lottery team. Maybe the Hornets..but no..not enough Asians there. Ya know..the more I think about it. Yi should just suck it up and play for the Bucks.

It's sooooooooo easy to criticize someone without knowing nothing about him. Seriously, when the guy turns out to be a bust, it's easy to say "I told you so" and try to shove it down everyone's throats. But when he actually turns out good, you just just pretend you never knew about him before and walk away like a chicken. Same with sports analysts, that's how they eat, by spewing crap and hope people will forget when they're dead wrong.

Yi and Yao would make sweet love together on rockets team. Yao would make Yi kneel down and choke on knowledge to help team dominate universe.
We need Sun Yu as 3rd. Chineese national team is not good in olympics but would be happy time success in NBA.

It might have been funny the first time. But your continuous efforts to make fun on the foreign poster's language skill is getting boring and pathetic.

We don't know if what will Yi become. He has Allstar Potential, but if he moves to the west, no way will he even be considered for the honor.
