Nanu is no where near ready for the NBA. As somebody who watches every RGV game, he gets outperformed by Joshua Smith often. He does have games here and there where he looks good and has a lot of rebounds and blocks, but those games are far between. He'll go one game with 15 rebounds and 2-3 blocks, then the next two with 6 rebounds and 0-1 block. His feet tend to get stuck on defense, and he hasn't figured out the pick n roll yet. Keep him in RGV.
This suggestion makes a lot of sense, allowing for the bench continuity but who knows if it would have worked if applied.
Brewer gives you hustle, defense, and runs the floor. He may miss his layup when he runs the floor, but he runs it nonetheless.
Rockets should start the 5 worst players on the roster for the first 6 minutes of each game. Then, boom, fresh beard? Piping hot Threeza ? A side of Ryno and a fresh Wolverine? It's over, they will destroy second units. Game over man.
Well, it wasn't a start but he still got about 8 minutes and played well. Good to see that from him. 6 pts, 3 boards, 1 assist. Of course in garbage time.
conditioning is an issue that he will get down the line but right now he can barely play 5 mins without huffing and puffing
Definitely can. Shown some good passing ability in D-League and his pre-draft scouting reports alluded to it. Smart kid. This guy is what 19? We're looking at some good prospects at C now.
I love the underhand FT's. No so much because of the shot itself, but because it shows a willingness to improve without being a slave to looking "cool"
