Yeah, sometimes Maxwell got double technicals.

Artest is the best fit for our team because he is a gangster and a beast...other teams fear him and he will fire up our own players. He swats shots into the stands, throws down in traffic, and runs around yelling and pounding his chest. It would be sweet to watch his antics every night.

Watch that video again and watch Ron's teammates, Kevin Martin and Brad Miller specifically. They all know he's a total nut job from Schizoville.

Your argument is weak. What did he do in Chicago and Sacramento that was to the detriment of the team? Other than that brawl and the rap cd incident, he was exceptional in Indiana. He got suspended for one game against the Spurs in the playoffs when he played for Sacto, but do you remember how he shut down Ginobili? Hey Vernon Maxwell went into the stands too. I guess you would've wanted the Rockets to get rid of him even though he turned Houston from Choke City to Clutch City. If not Ron Artest, realistically who would you go after to put the Rockets over the top? I don't think there's anybody as talented as Artest that the Rockets can realistically acquire. Remember Adelman has coached him before. I would put up with his eccentricities just like Rudy T did with Mad Max. Bottom line is that Ron Artest is worth the risk, because of what he brings to the table and he brings a lot.

I think the rockets should pick up Artest and Miller.

Artest certainly brings more Toughness, Intensity, Passion(plays to WIN), Size, loads of playoff experience (05'-06' w/Adelman) and Talent = more Rebounding, Scoring, Stronger Defense-he's #2 in steals in NBA!, Clutch plays(Very capable and loves it), and Team focus on Winning every possesion= More wins and success in post season.

With his Size, you can tell he works hard in the offseason and i would expect the same during the season to maintain his strength and agility.

That hard work on and off the court is contagious to teammates.

I also think that our Well Tempered and Very Kind Hearted rockets teammates (Mutumbo, Battier, Yao, Tracy, etc...) and Coach Adelman have the ability to keep artest cool and level headed, even if he's about to erupt...

Our coaching staff and discliplined team will also help limit his turnovers...

Even "Street Ball Legend" Rafer had his tempermental moments during the regular season, and that is normal with intense and passionate players...

I also think Miller would help us with scoring, passing, passion, and work ethic.
