Rockets settle on a new logo (Chron)

fyi...if you tilted it, it would look like the launch of a ballistic missile, not a nasa-like rocket into space.

haha... now we can ALL be designers... that'll be a large sum of money, please...

and how can we forget this...

 

every time a looked at the logo i kept thinking that the logo would look much better if the R was tilted. now i know i was right. looks much better IMO.

and the least they could do was make the "h" stand out a little more. i guarantee no one outside of this site even knows the "h" is supposed to be there.

overall, i'm a little disappointed. simple is nice, but there is absolutely nothing to this that is all that appealing, just as there's nothing to it that's too revolting (for lack of a better word).

After letting it all sink in for a few hours I'm kind of pissed. I just can't believe what these people are doing to this franchise. This logo isn't even the third or fourth best in the city. Timeless my ass.

 

Another thing that this logo reminds me of and is more prevelent with your tilted version is the "R" on Robin's costume.

Is it really that bad. I don't think anything could have lived up to this much hype, but to see you guys crying over it like this is pathetic. Everyone's angry that they weren't aiming the logo at the die-hard fans like us but we are very few in number (ask the average person in Houston to name more than 3 or 4 Rocket players). You'll have to just forgive them for aiming this at a global market.

The Logo needs to be in a perfect medium to look decent.

Those "Rocket launcher" thingies are terrible on the hat. They look like icicles.

I like many others like and dislike the new logo at the same time, but who cares what I think.

As for the "h" or "H" in the logo, I think it is stupid to rest the R above the H as we are not the Rocket Houstons. There is no possible way that the h is presented in lower case as there is always a lower case h attached to a capital R. It would only be coincidence.

Yeah it does look hideous; looks like a webbed feet or some crap are coming from that RIDICULOUS, PATHETIC EXCUSE OF A LOGO! Damn marketing and whoever created it, damn them all!
