Please no to Ariza. He's proven that he's aweful as soon as he locks in a decent contract.

I would rather MAX Eric Bledsoe than give Ariza 12-13 mill per year

    3 years 46 million.

He will be paid over 15 per on average and after year #1 he is averaging over 15.65.

You people insisting we are overpaying Parsons are way over your heads. It makes me sick to think that you all would be ok with Ariza and that contract.

I watched every game this season. Parsons is a game changer. He might be making a lot, but his production over the last 3 years cannot be forgotten.

    We cannot replace that.

Now Ariza is using us for leverage with the Wizards. I need to just walk away and have faith something good will come out FA Madness 2014!

We are over paying Parsons. That's what happens when you make someone restricted. He is valuable but not max money. Ariza is not worth 12. I wouldn't pay over 9.

what ariza contract? I haven't seen the numbers and I certainly don't believe anything leaked so far.

Parsons has been very good for us - but his contract is f'in horrendous. Purposefully bad. There is no debate about that.

Parsons worth 7.5-8 getting 16 but Ariza is overpaid? Smh, does this guy know what Gordon Haywood just signed for? Lazy reporting, I don't need opinions of other gms, other gms to Bob McNair he was on the right track right before a 2-14 season. Ariza fits a need and cost less than Parsons dumb ass contract. We need defense, he plays defense sign the damn deal and then lets find a pf and bench depth

OMG, please NO to this bum. Didn't we already sign him once and immediately dump him after we realized how bad and overpaid he was?

I know stats are overrated, but:

    Ariza (29) - 14,4 - 6,2 - 2,5
    Hayward (24) - 16,2 - 5,1 - 5,2
    Parsons (25) - 16,6 - 5,5 - 4

I know Ariza is a better defender than the other two. But he has also been in the league for 10 years. Parsons and Hayward has gotten better every year and are putting up better stats. It was clear from the beginning, that they would get better contracts.

Ariza at 12 million per year definetly is a worse contract than Parsons at 14,7 million a year. And I would take Hayward at the max as well before I take Ariza at those numbers.

Ok our options are limited at this point and we are in control of our fate. Let's make the safer move.

Except unlike Parsons and Hayward, Bledsoe is worth the max in a non-restricted situation, He will get matched.

not so sure about that (the part about Bledsoe getting matched). The Suns already have $16 mil tied up in their back court between Dragic and Thomas. Are they really going to make it $34 mil by matching on Bledsoe?

I'm not saying they won't match, i'm just saying it's far from certain.
