Don't know if it has been brought up yet, but we essentially got #18 (Terrence Jones) for 3 2nd round picks:

The rights to Lior Eliyahu, Chase Budinger, and Houston's 2012 2nd round pick, which the Pistons used on Kim English. I still think the Rockets got the better end of the deal, even though I did not want Terrence Jones.

Hey? If you dont think Patterson is tough enough, has not progressed enough, this is your new opportunity to see a guy similar in talent but has more strength. To see what he can do. So one of these guys is gonna be better. Either way Patterson or Terrence Jones. I have to say I got my money on Jones from own evaluation. He was arguably the second best player on that national championship team. It was a stacked team. Thats say so much.

I actually think TJ is underrated by many.
If given the opportunity I think he will be pretty good.

I like PPat better than Jones, and Scola more than both of them, so mer.

Maybe Scola is going to have to play at the 5 again.

We'll have two TRUE C's at the start of training camp. I guarantee it.

He's not at all a reach, he's a very solid consensus pick at #18. The problem is that the way things stand right now he's not going to be able to get playing time... with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers. That's how many forwards we have.

I think the LATEST any mock draft had him falling was to #17.

Most had him in the 12-15 range.

I was informed they really wanted Royce White so took him but were hoping to get Zeller at 18. Stupid should have got Zeller imo then went for Royce.

Only if he becomes better than Chase, if not, then the deal sucked.

Also is Jones supposed to be more explosive/bouncy than Pat Pat?

This was a great deal, especially if we clear space for Jones, or get something else back for him. Budinger has peaked, he may put up decent numbers under Adelman, but the that Bud is right now is the player that he'll be for the rest of his career. Jones has a much higher ceiling.

He also goes on to say TJones is more like Iguodala because he's a tweener that leans more toward the 3 spot. So, he's a tall Iggy with a JSmoove attitude.

Elite level skillset = Elite level player ... On top of all of this (maybe I'm being biast) he's left handed. I know this isn't him playing in college, but wow...

Isn't Iggy a tweener between SG and SF though?
