If that doesn't get you excited, nothing will.

Too much, and New York does not need Lowry or Martin. Calling bs on that one.

Lamb has some good one on one skills. He can things our current players cant which is create for himself. He has long arms. Some of the longest arms and he has a huge vertical. Which makes it almost like being a taller player because of that. Then he can also shoot. Those are great combination of skills to have.

So i guess Jeremy Lamb is Kevin Martin with handles, and hops. At least that's better than the actual Kevin Martin.

The only guard I would have picked over him might have been Beal. Thats only because of potential. These two are 1A and 1B in this draft in terms of scoring SGs. Of course people like Beal because of his rebounds and perceived to be better at defense. However Lamb has longer arms and is more athletic. In this league he has more potential to be the better defender if he puts in work and bulks up a tiny bit. Right now he is the more polished offensive player than Beal. He is only a Sophomore himself. So there is room to grow too.

Morey needs to be fired if this is true. Amare is a shadow of his former self, not to mention that albatross contract of his.

Here's an insider from about a month ago written by Fran Fraschilla making the case for Lamb over Beal.

I'm telling you, I think Lamb will be a star. By the end of his rookie contract, if he isn't a star caliber player I'll donate to the tip jar.

He has the experience, the demeanor, and the just plain talent to be a nasty player. I hope we dish Martin by the deadline to get this guy some extra PT.

I wonder if this means we keep Martin or are thinking of letting Lee go? I think they are planning on not resigning Lee in order to keep Dragic.

Lamb reminds me more of Nick Young, while Young is taller with better wingspan/vertical. Both are good scorers/shooters.

I've wanted Lamb since I saw UCONN win the title in Houston.

It's nice to have a young player once. Morey usually goes after Jr's and Sr's. Lamb just turned 20 last month.
