To his credit, Thornton appears to have very good court vision and passing ability. I have my concerns that he won't be able to face NBA competition due to physical shortcomings, but his shooting and passing seem legit.
That’s pretty much where I am on the guy. He has certainly showed us enough in college and summer league to think he has a shot to make it in the NBA. I’m looking forward to seeing what he can do this fall.
He does not have the burst that Brunson has forget Brunson. He’s not even shown to be Lowry type. That’s why I said let’s see him in preseason at least against some actual professional talent because against the summer league competition he looks slow
