    7:00 for me.

I have to get to work early and I like to get home before 11:00 on a weeknight.

7:30 or later. After work it is just so hard to turn it around and get to the game by seven. I went to 27 games in the 04-05 season and 22 games last year and I cant tell you how nice it is to have the later start. The extra thirty minutes or so makes a huge difference when you are coming in from the burbs. I wish the Astros started at 7:30.

7:30 - We have enough problems getting people in the seats by that time. Start any earlier and there won't be anyone there for tip-off.

I would prefer 7:00, but I think 7:30 is better. Sure the extra 30 minutes may keep people downtown, but it will also hurt people that have to drive into downtown. Like someone else said, people coming in>>>>>>people going to the games directly from downtown.

I have season tickets-1/2 season package. I drive from Beaumont,so 7:00 is easier for me. I really do not care. I will drive over for 3 games in one week if necessary.

I cannot wait for he season to start.

    Keep it 7:30.

We live just outside the loop. 7:30 gives everyone in the family time to get home, relax a little and get to the game on time.

Someone mentioned Drayton changing game times to seven.

That makes sense for baseball which can go on infinitely.

Basketball is over in an hour and a half and everyone is home just a little past bed time.

The Rockets asked season ticket holders a few years ago about changing the start times from 7:30 to 7:00. They were surprised when a large number preferred 7:30 over 7:00. This was back in the Compaq Center days. I guess with the downtown location they feel more people might prefer 7:00 instead.

I like 7:30 the best. My only wish is that they would actually start the game at 7:30 instead of 7:40. Seems like the last couple of seasons the tipoff has been pushed back by a few minutes. There are now two commercial breaks between 7:30 and the tipoff when there used to be only one. Let's go back to the old days when the game started just a couple minutes past 7:30.

I'm a season ticket holder and i would DEFINITELY prefer 7pm....One it would make the game end earlier..around 9:30 or so rather than 10 pm..I live in spring and it sucks getting home that late....7pm would be perfect..I HOPE THEY SWITCH IT!!!!

Memo to the Rockets: Just think of all of extra concessions you would be able to sell with a 7pm start because people wouldn't have time to eat dinner at home. :)

Many of the games on TNT started at 7 and I don't remember it being a problem for people getting there.

i keep seeing people writing "I" and "me" statements. shouldn't we hear more, what's best for everybody with this topic? I agree with an earlier poster saying that if we start winning games people will be there on time since more actual fans would be there and not just people who go to the game just to go.
