My rep has been calling me everyday for the past month and a half. I've only picked up once. I told myself that I would ride out the offseason to see what moves the Rockets make before I dish out another couple thousand on season tickets.

    I still have hope.

C'mon IROC, let the poor guy vent. His anger shows that he at least still cares. The real tragedy would be if NOBODY got angry because that would mean that nobody cared about this team anymore.

Admires your spirit but so far the management really sucks... It gets even worse if you think about how two exceptional guys would end up with no champs with Rockets uniform. Also, no offense but guys like you maybe a factor that the management keeps making stupid moves without caring what the fans really think, as "hell, only death will put a stop to their support to Rox..."

Yeah but that's ALL we have. No depth, no consistent, proven shooters and athletic swingmen or a 3rd scorer.

This is a bit off-topic but I actually feel better knowing all of us share the exact same team. Its weird how I never thought about it before. But we are all Rockets fans.

I've been a Rockets fan since Moses Malone. Sometimes they are good sometimes they suck. There is no ying without the yang. But being a fan is about the passion. I think the folks saying they are quitting the Rockets will still be around. They are just expressing their yang passion and they will be the happiest among us come about the 50th win. (whatever year that happens)

    I need to know this..

Is the Toyota Center as bad as it looks on tv??? I know the arena itself is new and everything but is the atmosphere as bad as it seems? Cause it looks like they're playing in basement because of how dark and dead the court looks and the crowds dont seem very lively.

yes. but the bars are very nice and you can get some really good food.

They just made it too nice to cater to the money crowd. It's not a gym it's a country club.

Well then that's fine but that's what being a real fan means to me, I've been the same way about every team I've ever rooted for

Besides, I don't understand what your answer to the solution is? Not watch the team? Not go to the games? We'll great for you but for me I'll watch the team good or bad.

Besides, I am dissapointed with these recent moves BUT its not nearly as bad as all these reactionary post are making it seem. The team has needs and we'll just have to wait and see how the rest of this offseason goes.

This upcoming season will depend soley, just like last year, on T-mac's and Yao's health, if they are healthy we'll be contenders like we should have been this last year.

If you could make it through the Barkley days, you can make it through this. I love T-Mac & Yao. Fan forever, no matter what.

Well maybe it is because we are Rockets fans and want a quality product on the floor.

Basically you are requesting that becasue we feel we have been betrayed by Rockets management over and over again we should no longer post...

Management has basically made us a lottery team again and the bad part of that is if we have the same management in place even a #1 pick will do us no good...

Almost every team in the West has improved except the Rockets...

Have you seen the level of play in playoff teams??? We have nowhere near the depth or heart to be any kind of playoff contender...

While we may actually somehow back into the playoffs we are in no way shape or form at any level near being able to keep up to one of the top teams in the West...

Even with a healthy YAO and TMac and if Battier is better than advertised we do not have the rest of the players to make the difference...

I am tired of the ineptitude of Rockets management and I will complain all I want on this message board and if you don't like it you can stop reading the threads...

I have a feeling there will be a lot of complaining threads over the next NBA season...

Have you guys ever thought about giving the same allowances to a kid who failed his tests encourages the same behavior?

If all the fans respond in the same way regardless of what the team does, there's little incentive to improve. This is business. When profit is guarenteed there's no need to worry.

I can't fault the fans who stops paying money for inferior products, to me, they are doing the right thing to improve the team.

Emjohn, I agree with you 100%. I have season tickets in some form for the past three years (sec 113 and sec 114) and I go to many "extra" games in addition to my tickets. The last year I went 24 games and the year before I went to 27. It is not cheap. I love this team and will always support them but I am seriously going to think about it before I make the financial commitment.

My season ticket rep calls me non stop as well. I usually dont pick up because I am at work and dont have the time to be discussing Rocket ticket plans. I will probably buy a mini plan again, but it is not a sure thing buy any stretch.

I guess I am more of a fan along the lines of Grendal, Emjohn, and the countless others who dont post stupid nonsense when things dont work out the way I or you wanted them to. I will always support this organization good, bad or indifferent. I too, get mad at the product and the seven out of the last nine years of the lottery, but seriously am I going to give up on my squad? No way. It sucks, last year sucked, the draft sucked, the injuries sucked, but the Rockets will get it back. Dont ever forget how sweet it was in 86, 94, 95, and all the other years where the Rockets were perennial contenders.

Just wondering if your name is a tribute to a certain pitcher on the Astros... though it is mispelled i believe.

If Dwayne Wade and Kobe/Shaq have taught you anything is that Superstars win championships....

As long as we have Yao and TMAC we have a chance!!! Lets hope it clicks!
