It's highly unlikely any of the rest per-game numbers will be equal to some whole number, which means final number will be either over or under the original number if sufficient decimal digits are examined and shown. Yao has improved his scoring ever year in the league...there shouldn't be any reason to doubt that happening again...especially with less wear and tear on the low block and easy 15-17 foot jump shots 5. Luis Scola will play [/under] 30 minutes per game this season. - Scola will average 25-27 min b/c of the foul troubles he'll get adjusting to the game. 7. I probably should have added my picks... 1. The Rockets will win under 56 games this season. I feel the Rockets have a legitimate shot of getting their first 60-win season ever, but I'm a little burned out on picking the Rockets real high from how they look on paper. A new system will take some time and a rough schedule to start. I'm saying 55 wins. 2. Tracy McGrady will average under 25 points this season. Too many weapons, not enough threes hoisted, for T-Mac to be 25+ this year. 3. Tracy McGrady will average over 6 assists this season. At the end of the day I still think T-Mac is going to be making the "final pass" quite a bit. 4. Yao Ming will average over 25 points this season. The progress should continue -- inside and now outside. 5. Yao Ming will average under 10 rebounds this season. Very tough call -- I want to say "over" because of the increase in possessions (and rebound opportunities)... but he's not a great rebounder for his size and I'm hunching that some of his high post work will negatively impact here. 6. Luis Scola will play over 30 minutes per game this season. In my opinion, the addition of Scola is the #1 reason I strongly considered "over" for question #1. 7. Rafer Alston will shoot under 40% from the field this season. I'm very tempted to say over here because Skip has been scorching hot over the last 1 NBA preseason game, but then I remembered that the word Rafer actually stems from the Latin root rafe, meaning "3 of 10". 8. Mike James will play over 25 minutes per game this season. Oh yeah. If he doesn't ultimately start, he'll be the first guard off the bench. 9. Steve Francis will play under 25 minutes per game this season. Oh no. I think this was just a Les Alexander addition. I don't think Adelman or Morey were that thrilled about it. He hasn't looked like a great fit so far. 10. Bonzi Wells will play under 25 minutes per game this season. Just barely. I have a hard time with this one though ... Adelman obviously knows him well and he played over 32 a night for him in Sacramento.
