I think Glen Rice would be good for Qyntel Woods. I think i gives us an opportunity to bring him along slowly. Also i believe the rockets should trade up (if we have to) to get woods.:D

    montgo,
some people question his reported height. I know it's hard for you to say since the game was so long ago, but did he look 6-9 to you? Thread in the College/Draft forum linked a page saying he was only 6-7. If he's all he's cracked up to be, I'd take him at 6-7 regardless, but I'm interested in finding out his actual height.

IMO, Miles is highly overrated. The last 2 years that I've seen him play (I watch a lot of Clips games to hear Walton do the PBP) he is basically an exciting player with no skills whatsoever.

He has not improved any from last year. The only real thing that he has added to his game is that stupid fist to head thing he does with Quentin Richardson.

If Miles can ever get a consistent jumper or some ball handling skills, then he will be a great one.

Finally I see someone has the same opinion of Darius Miles that I do. kidrock is right, I'll I've ever seen Darius do is dunk, or take a shot a three feet away from the basket. In two years, he has made no strides to elevate his game by adding a jumper to his arsenal. Make no mistake about it, I think he is a remarkable athlete, but not ball-player. If I were playing hoops on the playground, I definitely choose Darius first.

As for the fist pounding on his forehead after every made shot he and Q Rich make, Charles Barkley said it best,"That's the stupidest thing I've seen...I wish they would know how much that aggravates me when I watch them play". Charles you're not the only one.

I thought Miles was a slasher-type. Does he not have pretty decent handles? That's surprising to me.

Not with the ball in his hands...

I swear that 90% of his buckets are alley oops or fast break dunks, in which McInnis or whoever, has to give him the ball around the goal.

I can't even remember seeing him dribble the ball to the goal.

Saleem: He has a better looking jumpshot than Morris and can pull the trigger faster than Morris. You ever notice that Morris seems to wind up a bit when he shots....like he is measuring. Q jumps flicks the wrist and it flies. the night I saw him, he was not hitting them, but the range was definitely there. Sometimes I watch Morris and wonder if he the range is there. His layups were very nice...very Kobe-esque or Cuttinoish. You ever notice how Cuttino's front end layups almost melt into the net with touching the rim...very similar. not quite a full finger roll, but close. This kid also dunked a lot. He got to the basket very quickly on a first step and was tomahawking and roundhousing on three or four occassions.

Relativist: He was one of the tallest three on the court. In fact, there was only one or two taller than him and it was the opponent's center. I do not think he is 6'9" though. It was hard to measure though.
