    "Grow the beard" is an antonym of "jump the shark." In other words, it's when a show that starts off in Suck Town hits its stride. The term comes from Star Trek: The Next Generation, which started off terrible but began to get better when Commander Riker grew a beard at the beginning of season two.

    If we had signed Gogi, they could've been the "Beard & Dragon" :(

    I love Keep Houston Beard & Beard Me. Although I like Keep Houston Beard the best, I love how it was a fellow player that started Beard Me , how short it is, and how it kind of maybe sort of a little bit encourages fans to go along with sporting beards to the games.

    I think regardless if Keep Houston Beard happens or not, somebody has got to put together & sell a nice t-shirt design of that. Clutch has first merchandise rights to it! Just not tie-dye! (I don't wear tie dye. Not before nor after working at a restaurant where I was required to wear it everyday.)
