    Fun fact: the phenomenon you are experiencing is known as semantic satiation. When your brain is exposed a word repeatedly, it can eventually begin to perceive said word (in this case, beard) as nonsense.

    Update: The Rockets marketing staff has decided to look elsewhere for a slogan due to all the ridiculous and repeated entries posted on cf.net

    Semi-grunching (since the thread is long) so sorry if any of these have already been suggested:

    The beard will be heard!

    Beware the beard!

    and my personal favorite...

    Beard Ballin' (can be sung by the crowd with the chorus of Tom Petty's "Free Fallin'" i.e. "And we're beeaaard... beeaaard baaaalliiin'")

    Beard is the word could be used similarly by linking it to that "Bird is the word" song... "Beard-beard-beard... beard is the word"

    If I was an OKC fan, his 1st game back I would make sign that says "Now your some-beardy that I used to know"
