I think Garcia's contract is guaranteed too. http://www.spotrac.com/nba/houston-rockets/francisco-garcia/ Francisco Garcia signed a 1 year / $1.32 million contract with the Houston Rockets, including $1,316,809 guaranteed, and an annual average salary of $1,316,809. So I am thinking it is unlikely. But then, ...
ish and garcia were obvious cuts. i'm sure the team wanted to keep adrien but no way less cuts dorsey and loses $2M for nothing. so the current depth chart is: dwight-black-dorsey tj-dmo-capela (NBDL) ariza-papa harden-daniels-johnson (NBDL) beverley-terry-canaan we would have an open roster spot to sign any good players who get cut. for example the knicks are considering waiving travis outlaw, he would fit in as a third SF or stretch 4.
Not gonna lie Capela being over in the NBA this year really screwed some talented people (adrien) out of a roster spot.... This kid better be a stud!
I'm guessing Dorsey was part of the lure for K-Pap, in which case I'm not too mad. Still sad to see him go.
Interesting thought, I wonder if morey thought he was staying if we got bosh. Can't blame the guy for doing what he has the right to do, but i agree it will be added pressure on Morey that he gets that pick right now, esp with no likely 2015 1st rounder (assuming we ship the no Pick
Garcia an obvious cut? That people hate him on here is one thing, but why sign a veteran who's been with the team, didn't perform well last sure yet did not have to fight for a spot in camp (little playing time), is the only SF insurance, is respected in the locker room, is healthy again.. Don't let your hate cloud your mind, Garcia an obvious cut is just illogical and not common sense.
