UPDATE: Final two cuts are Jeff Adrien and Ish Smith.

how credible is the source? He reports for Real GM
    If true,
Wow sad about Adrien. I guess the injured ankle slowed him down afterall. Not sad about Garcia or Ish! Question is: if Garcia goes then other than Pap, who plays the wing that's on the bench? I guess I'll take a stab at my own question. Could play Harden at the 3 and Terry at the 2 as extreme backup plan (if there was an injury to Pap).

Ariza will play 30 mpg, how many do you see being needed for someone behind Papa? Harden will play ~36, so you're looking at about 30 minutes between Papa, Terry and Daniels.

I think Adrien's contract is fully guaranteed, so does this mean he can actually double his pay if he latches on with another team?

Disappointing to see Adrian go. I kinda liked him.

Garcia and Ish can bounce, though.

hes credable, he isnt really a rumour guy, has beaten woj to some trades last year and doesnt just throw rumours at a wall to see what sticks.

we all knew thier was going to be 1 hard cut and this is it unfortunately, he will get picked up on the waiver wire within the hour he is officially waived.i always thought adrian would be our starting PF after 20 games. shows how much i know about this team now

I'm specifically talking about the 3. I don't want terry or daniels at the 3. I should have worded that better. Like I said If Pap got injured could play Harden at the 3 and someone else you mentioned at the 2 on some lineups.

Terrible decision. Should've cut Garcia and Ish.

Lack of SF depth killed us last year... Of course we are in better shape with Ariza/Papa, but I would really hate to give up Garcia's experience and shooting.

Ish would be easier to replace.
With the news that JJ Barea may get picked up by the Mavs, they'd have to waive/trade the promising young PG Gal Mekel or Greg smith. He'd be a solid addition.

    ----------

Tough luck to Adrien. I had high hopes for him and am really disappointed by this news.

Also, I second VOA's statement about Charania's credibility. He's pretty young, but pretty reliable and not a self-serving doofus like Alex Kennedy, etc.

Sad to see him go. Not that he's particularly great but there's something great about watching a 6'7" guy knock people over and get a ton of rebounds, even if he can't do anything else.

Can understand why they did this but does not take away what Adrien would be capable of doing

Perhaps undersized, good rebounder, hustle player, good man off the bench

We have good rebounders with Black and Howard, potentially Jones, Dmo and Dorsey

If we made a trade and Adrien is still available, I can see us getting him back next season or even somewhere close to playoffs

They always come back to the Rockets

I refuse to believe Joey Dorsey made the team over Adrian. There's just no way.

I trust management more than a random poster like you. Why you not a GM?

Was about to happen. Anyone with a marginally guaranteed contract, minimum contract is not safe. Darn you Ndumba Capela! Hope you will break out and not falter like Thabeet!
