sounds like Morey was all talk on we won't make a move. Probably a calculated move to hardball the other teams and make it clear that we can and will wait to make our big move and aren't in a hurry to lose the core. That way people are more realistic with trades right now. I foresee this movement as a sign that Morey wants the guys up in Houston for trade flexibility should he get a good opportunity.

 

Someone needs to hold Harden's keys and carry his bags while he's enjoying the all star festivities.

Why is everybody freaking out? The Rockets have called up and sent down players like crazy this season and we have a week off. I'm sure they just want tjones and smith to get some time in with the team.

 

if the Rockets are still practicing over the allstar break, there's no real news here. If they are not, then ...something might be cooking. Can anyone answer this question:

Smith is an inch taller and looks so much bigger.

Maybe on Monday and Tuesday. If so it makes sense to bring them in to practice with the team.

 

Actually, they are almost the same size. Jones is 6' 8.25", and Smith is 6' 8.5". Almost the same weight too.

I think there is going to be a trade. I think Morey will try to upgrade the bench.

If not _ extra practice bodies at the start of Monday's practice.

 

Trade is going to happen if they call them back for a reason. You can't call them back and sit them on the bench or sent them back to the D league on Monday again.

 

Greg Smith is Bigger but they're both 6'8 with out shoes. Greg Smith is listed at 6'10 because he is big, and that makes him look taller than 6'8.
