I think you might be spot on this. The kings always wanted Brooks and Laundry wants to come back. Trade scholars for a center. Start Laundry and let Patterson be the backup pf. Perfect.

No time for practice, this week. There are 4 games in the next 6 days, including travel to 3 of those games. They will have only 2 off days.

Brooks has lost a lot of his trade value since last Summer.

    :(

The trade deadline may be to late. We need to be close to .500 buy then. If not the season is over. I know many including myself feel the season is over already. But Adelman and my impression is also Morey think we still have a shot at the playoffs. But that shot is sinking fast and if we get too far back it will become near impossible. Morey may feel we need to make a change now but we probably will make anyway.

Of course it could just AB is still hurt.

It's funny when a player gets called up from the NBDL.. all of a sudden, so many people think that one of our best players is going to get traded. Why wasn't Brooks traded when Ish was with the team before going down to the NBDL? Some people...

More than likely, the Rockets are going to get in some practices this week that would be beneficial for Ish. The Vipers don't play until Friday, so maybe the organization would prefer him practicing with the Rockets than the Vipers.

Well, if we bring Landry back, we will have the motherload of pf's. Scola is good but he is definitely aging. The Rockets should sell him high while he still has good value. This team is not going anywhere fast, so trading Scola and Battier makes a lot of sense.

Let's start the youth movement now.

Landry is a UFA, Brooks is a RFA. Makes it risky.

Unless there is a seprate deal ready to move Scola, then Landry isn't happening.

The Vipers push practice back to accommodate Ish... To get more accustomed to the system, and to get playing time/more experience to get him ready.

    A trade is inevitable.

And it makes no sense to call him up when Rockets are already having rotation problems... No time to practice.

I just thought of another reason he might be called up...

The Vipers don't play again for a week... so they bring him up to workout with the big team until another home stretch for RGV

Maybe the tough schedule is why they are calling him up. To let Lowry and Brooks rest a little during the games.
