I thought he would look better and fresher in the second round. He’s been the most disappointing by far. We can’t beat GS with Chris Paul just being average.

He’s struggling just to get to 20 points this playoffs.

Only 1 20+ point game this playoffs.

5 25+ point games in the playoffs last year.

    He’s declining hard.

Andre Iguodala looks amazing at 35 yo. The difference is he takes pristine care of his body whereas CP3 is pudgy and doesn’t train hard enough. I can’t believe he declined so rapidly from last year to this year.

Chris Paul will have a better shooting next year than this year. It's inevitable. Shots don't just disappear like that.

But he might never be as fast as he is now. Best case scenario is a Jason Kidd end-of-career arc, where the defense and penetration abilities fall off and they just have to lean on their court vision and mid-range old-man game.

Now that I think of it, including thinking of new words, Chris Paul does slook pedantic out there.

Look man. The opportunity is there for the taking.

Warriors breaking up will leave the window open for the next couple of years. The Rockets will also look to upgrade as well.

This Paul albatross contract will be justified even if we win 1 championship. JUST ONE.

I was wondering at work , He got what 40 mil this year, and he was inured most the year as well,,,, i wonder if he consider a contract adjustment if the rockets said look, we need "X Player" to get help for you and James to win. Wonder if he would consider, restructuring his contract. Like the next 3 years at 75 mil. Thats still a big chunk, after getting a nice 40. Plus these playoff acentives they get, i mean comon. He got big deal with State farms as well, why not help the team out. That would be extra 45 mil, and maybe could do a 1+1 contract with Jimmy Butler at 23 mil.

It gave us 2 huge chances to contend: last year and this year.

    No Paul we're getting swept.

Maybe the last few years suck but that's TBD. I think Paul will still be good. In his last year he'll be 36 and turn 37 in the playoffs.

Can the Rockets sue CP3 and get their money back?
